Wasn't expecting the talk about Linus's mental health. As private as he is I didn't think he would divulge that part of him. Respect... I also remember back when Yvonne started becoming more of a part of the public side of the channel, and trolls would say things like "She's too pushy" or that "she doesn't belong here". I think the biggest hurdle for Linus and Yvonne to overcome was how nasty some of us can be on here.

College is overrated. This is coming from a college graduate. I am glad to have the degree, just to say that I have one. And for me, having taken 7 and a half years to get my 4-year degree, it’s more just proof to myself that I can push through and get the job done even after falling over and over again. But I have been told by my boss that it wasn’t even my degree that got me my job; I was very green (which meant I didn’t need to be un-trained out of old habits) and I did well on an aptitude test. People just need to be willing to learn and able to apply it in the real world, which college doesn’t always do a good job of simulating. There are tons of people with great aptitude that doesn’t translate to schooling, but put them in the real world and they will take off.

I now understand why both of them are kind and understanding people. People who have experienced mental issues on either side they seem to more kinder to people. I’m sure Linus has helped his employees in their bad days because of his experience.

Many divorce-raped men wish it were always the case. If what Linus is saying is true, then saying that Yvonne is a keeper is an understatement of the highest order. I honestly hope he's being sincere, because men glorifying their wives is very cliche, considering that nobody knows what goes on behind the scenes except them.

Wow. Normally a lot of women with high ranking jobs would not settle for less. Pharmacist in the USA pays 6 figures and I am sure in Canada too. But for her to believe in LInus and take that jump and motivate and push him to create what he has today says a lot about her and that should give men everywhere hope that there are good women out there.

In those rare moments where you open up in front of the camera your love and devotion for Yvonne and your children is clear. By your own admission, you may not have always been as present and available to her and your children as you, her or your children deserved largely due to your time spent building LMG into what it is today but you are clearly making up for lost time now and for that I have a lot of respect.

Happy to hear someone else share candidly what it's like to be in your early 20s and realize how horrific college can be. It can be wonderful things for many people but it was the single worst decision I ever made. When my then girlfriend, now wife told me to drop out after i burst into tears about how miserable, hopeless and like a failure I felt when i realized i was never going it make it, it was one of the best things that has ever happened to me. A weight of shame was lifted from my shoulders and I could begin to wake up in the morning and begin to build a sense of pride in myself that I'd simply lost. I don't think about what life would have been like had she not been there at that moment. I had the same thoughts Linus had. Thank you Linus for putting a voice to the darkest time in my life, I hope others reading find the one for them.

I love hearing about your past and how you came to be where you are today. It;s truly amazing that you've built such an empire in such a short time and kudos to you for sharing those who helped you get there including Yvonne and Luke.
I totally understand what you mean about school not being right for you, I think that is true for a lot of people in the tech business myself included, many of us are wired differently and often on the spectrum in some way. Even in my younger high school days I would consider myself, in the least egotistical way possible, to be pretty smart with technology and engineering, yet I failed almost every exam in school and college. Some people just aren't built for the classroom and fare much better with hands-on learning.
