I was crying tears of joy while watching this video right until the name "Preeti Shenoy" came up, at which point I was like "Wait, what!?"! Personal feelings aside, thank you so much for making this!
The Taj trilogy has been on my tbr too. In fact, have the first book since a year but somehow haven't picked it up yet. Want to read Forest of Enchantments too but apprehensive considering I hated Krishna- Draupdi angle in POI.
Yeah, sometimes that just happens with books. They just stay on your shelves. I'll start the Taj Trilogy soon and let you know if it's worth picking up :)
After watching this vedio I joined ur channel and since then I'm a big fan of yours. Especially because you post on historical fiction and mythological stories. Which mostly other youtubers don't focus on much.
Try out Empire of Sand by Tasha Suri. It's a fantasy based in a Mughal India inspired setting and it draws from Bharatnatyam too. It was one of my best reads last year! 🧡
Amazing review ma'am of all these 7 literary masterpieces 💯💯 Can You Please recommend a fantasy fiction book on the concept of Werewolves or Vampires just like Devourer ??

Hey nice video... U seem very happy talking about books like a true book lover 😜 Also u spoke with clarity.. 😊 And I am not sure but I think werewolves isn't exactly western concept... I think it has been there in indian literature .. though not exactly sure!!!!

Hey.. that was a wonderful vid and very informative too. Among these I have read the forest of enchantments and Preeti Shenoy's. Preeti shenoy is a beautiful contemporary writer as you said and i liked most of her works. About Chitra Banerjee.. I liked Palace of Illusions the most. After reading it I fell in love with Karna. But i dint like The forest of enchantments much I would give a 3* for that.
Forest of Enchantments isn't as great as The Palace of Illusions, but it's gooood. :) There are some books on here I've never heard of! So intrigued! :D
Yeah, I had actually hears that about Forest of Enchantments, but still excited to explore it. In fact, I've read so many Mahabharata retellings, haven't read a single Ramayana one haha! So another reason I want to check it out.

Oh, I didn't know that about werewolves. That would be cool though, if they existed in our old myths and stuff..
It could have been borrowed from West or vice versa. Stories travelled around the world like that
