Ilia has a tendency to throw himself out of position. If he's not more composed/reserved Volk will take advantage.
In his last fight he looked very composed so don't expect him to slip up

Missing MK for the past month has been super weird.
I don't think people realise how easy it is for volk to take away a non-elite strikers weapons. What Luke is saying is true, but i really don't see volk allowing topuria in boxing range for a second of the fight without breaking him down first.

I think Volk is better everywhere, foot work, strength, cardio, counters, jab, and ground and pound..And I think Topuria will get ground and pound ko'd..And then Max and Yair will beat him next..I do expect Topuria to fight his way back to the belt in a few years..Topuria didn't fight his way through the rankings, he was selected by the UFC for his marketability..He is highly talented but rushed..

Of all the feather weight title fights, the younger fighter has won 16 of 22 times..6 times the older fighter won, and 5 of those 6 times Volk was the fighter, So Volk was beating the odds all along..And these age stats are not laws of physics, but they are real..

I'm surprised Luke is so confident in Ilia. Yair made Josh Emmett look ameature the fight before Ilia fought him. Ilia has basically no experience against elite level fighters. Volk has dominated everyone at 145.

I’m definitely betting on Volk. Ilia fights very tight and explodes for big combos. Volk will throws so many faints and counter. I think it’s too soon for ilia. But if he knocks out Volk that will be crazy. End of an era.

Topuria over extends and loads up way too often. Volk can capitalize on that. But the age difference also plays a factor. It's a hard fight to predict.
21:00. Gaethje is also 35, and it's very strange that literally nobody is talking about his age. He is 3 years older than Max, and Max is only 32. According to statistics, there's about a 4% chance that Gaethje can win. Only 1 person out of 31 fights has won in a title fight, being 35 or over, at 170 pounds or less.
I wouldnt be surprised if volk slowly beats illia up with low kicks and kicking the body and arms to shut down the boxing. And push the pace with out putting him self in danger. Illia has a punchers chance plus great skills, are they on the level of volk,we will find out 🤯
