Why I quit my previous job (last year 2022) | life of an Indian teacher

  • I made this video back in feb of 2022. I had this filmed and kept it private because I thought people would judge me for being ungrateful. It wasn’t a pleasant experience, however I am so grateful for this learning experience because if it wouldn’t have happened, I wouldn’t have been where I am today. Today I love to work, where I work. The work culture, the environment is just so amazing.
    I know many might go through this but just know that, there’s light at the end of the tunnel, waiting for you🧿❤️

    Quitting a job can be a difficult decision, but it's important to remember that growth and change can be painful, but staying in a situation where you don't belong is even more painful. It may be difficult to leave something familiar and comfortable, but every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end. Embrace the change and trust that it will lead you to where you are meant to be. You have made a brave decision, and it's now time to take the next step forward and see where this new path takes you....keep it going ...take care

    I am currently facing similar problems in the school I am teaching. I am the youngest teacher here.. like literally just out of college and wanted to earn and then I'm here. I was suppose to be a dance teacher but now I'm doing other jobs which isn't giving me satisfaction. Neither am I able to do them properly. The only thing that motivates me to work is my salary and students😅 but I plan to leave as soon as the academic year is done and look for a better place❤️
    This being my first job, i definitely learnt a lot! As a person and a professional. And I think a good environment will bring out the better in any person..

    Oh god! I can relate so much. I also had to leave and the work culture was horrible there. We were not allowed to sit for the entire day which is so pathetic of them. We were made to do so much of work even on the holidays.
    I will start preparing for the govt job now

    Great decision , madam .
    You have tried your best and you have given your best for your students . Children will definitely remember you and your teaching.
    They know how good teacher you are.
    Those who do a lot of hard work are not recognised in some places and those who act a lot they are recognised .
    You have a long way to go mam , wishing you all the very best .

    What no appointment letter seriously that's the most important thing, i feel like i have the same issue in my work field they thought of me being new n young so they treated like a kid even though i was head of the department. Their is like a whole room of toxic culture and all i did was post shift crying in my room finally i decided to leave otherwise it gonna affect my whole personal life and health , I'm doing my studies I'm better now even though I'm again struggling to be back to foot for another job but this time I'll chose wisely after completing my higher education you did a great thing mam people usually don't talk about work culture which is very important to be discussed so that others and esp the newbies and young people like us don't have to suffer being their maid n working on their behalf as if we are servant. Thankyou for sharing your story

    Some thing same happened to me last month and I quit there. I have a query that my previous school did not provide me any appointment letter or any kind of documents that I can provide in my future interviews. So should I write about this job in my resume or mention it to the interviews?

    • @the.psychdiary
      @the.psychdiary  Рік тому

      Yes kindly mention that and if they ask you for proof tell them you left because they didn’t provide you with an appointment letter
