Those small TW kits were my introduction to the online stitching community. On the back they list her website and she had a bulletin board back in the day. A good portion of my FB friends are from that group. My best friend from Colorado who I talk to daily is from there. They also introduced me to Mirabilia…..
I’ve heard so many good things about the retreat through Flosstube - congratulations! I also have to say that I absolutely love the two pieces of fabric I received from you. They’re beautiful and will be saved for a Mira or a Nora…just can’t decide which ones because I want to do them all! I’m also stitching Siren and the Shipwreck - she’s my favourite Mira mermaid. Looking forward to seeing your progress on her.
Thank you feels inadequate for how wonderful the weekend was, but I can't think of anything better😊. I want ro stitch all the Miras and Nora's (and I'm being sucked into the world of tiny ones too!) And now that I see your Wentzlers I want to get all of them out too!! 🪡👠
I did an unboxing of the fabric I got from you, I was really happy with everything. I was also really pleased with the picture presentation on the website being so close to the in-person fabric, so I definitely don't feel any anxiety ordering again in the future. :) I'm off to my first retreat tomorrow, it's been fun to listen to the recaps of this one. I just finished Castle Ridge myself! I have to do a finish video on it. I did the backstitching as I went and also left off the sky because I just didn't like the look of it. I'll be taking the unmarked chart to the retreat for the destash table for someone else to enjoy and there's still a lot of thread leftover so they might not have to sub in their own stuff too much. Lady of Shalott for me is one of my favourite songs by Loreena McKennitt (she arranged it from the original poem of course) so I've got that in my lineup to start next year. Would be fun to work on it at the same time as you :D

There are some of your TW patterns that I haven’t seen before! I like that castle one - it says miniature on it - how does it compare in size to the rest of her designs? I think I had hoped to maybe finish my dragon this year, but now I know that next year is my new goal. I have too many other things I want to stitch to try to focus on just that the rest of the year. 😊

It’s pretty tiny by comparison - 90x126. So I guess about 1/4 of the size? I get that; I keep pushing back my goal.
