- WHAT?! I have really just recently got into bottle hunting, and I thought it would take me much longer to find my first Hutchinson style bottle! These are a rare type of soda bottle that were used in the 1880's - very early 1900's. It was definitely the last thing I expected during this trip. Along with the Hutch, we found tons of other cool antique bottles from the late 1800's - early 1900's. Can't wait to go back! "Hippity Hoppity you are my property!!!"
Bahaaaaaaa yes that is accurate 😂
Ya man! Your hooked for life now!
Yessir! This one broke me. I thought I was getting obsessed before... then this one took me over the edge 😂
I was thinking the same thing .
My favorite bottle is the Huch bottle !!! Way to go Kyle 👏 🙌 👍 💪
I had to watch the whole way through. You guys crack me up. Hollering like old prospectors finding some gold.😂😂⛏⛏⚒💎
Thanks for watching Heather! Glad it was interesting to you. We definitely freak out hahahaa 😂
Kyle found a hutch, Kyle found a hutch!!! Woo hoo!!! Yep, the addiction is now permanent. Even fighting your way through bats and lizards, nothing will stop you!!!😁
YES! I thought I was hooked before, but now I am even more obsessed haha!
That was a WW2 machete! You need to go back and save that! So cool that you found a W.Va. bottle! I am 135 miles south of Terra Alta in Parkersburg, W.Va. A great hunt for a creek walk! Take care & H.H.!
Oh no way! Definitely gotta go back. That's awesome you are near Terra Alta!
I was born & went to High School in Ripley, WV! Lived in Sandyville.
The doll had elephantiasis and a Kim Kardashian butt lol great finds keep them coming brothers 👍
Bahahahaaaaaa this comment made me laugh out loud. That dolls butt was demented looking hahaa.
LMAO!
Lol 😂
Oh you guys have too much fun out there! great finds, love your videos, @Wildkyle. You remind me so much of my first husband from back in the 70's hehe, we're grandpa and grandma now, but we had some fun up on the creeks. Hang in there, @PaleoChris, you'll skunk him next time! "... we can't stop here, this is bat country!" - Hunter S. Thompson. Happy New Year, guys!
Happy New Year! Thanks for watching the video! ☺️
Fun time! I love your enthusiasm. Glad you found your dream bottle! Great video.
Thank you Gwynn! Hopefully many more to come!
Love catching up on these early bottle hunting videos as well as the fossil hunting videos. 2024. Wind River Country, Wyoming.
Awesome video! I’m happy you found that super rare one! I am going to have to take some pics of my collection once they are unpacked.
Thanks Thayne! I'm in love with that bottle haha. Can't wait to see your collection!
Oh the machete is just jason dumping his weapon in the creek before going back to the camp.
You found a hutch... In a creek... In Florida... That's incredibly rare lol. I found a few strap sided flasks and a nice mid 1800's black glass whiskey on the banks of the Hillsborough in Tampa. Would be fun to hunt with you guys.
There's gotta be tons of old glass somewhere in Tampa! Would love to explore it.
Love finding old bottles. Keep the video's coming.
I am glad to hear that Debbie! I will keep makinng them. I love to do it!
Ok, so I spelled Hutch wrong, I got it right this time, it must be the air bubbles in my head 😅 😳 it comes with age !!! Lol 😆
I always carry a machete creek walking. Hack thru the thick stuff and use it to dig with. Plus it keeps the undesirables away
That was good Kyle looking forward to the next one gratulations on the bottle
That brick at the beginning?? Get that. It has something written on it. Could tell you where it came from. ✌🏽
I wanna go collect some of the bricks there soon!
Lol I love the movie that line was from. "we're in Bat Country"
Bahaaaa 😂😂😂
Keep the broken coke ones, they could still be worth something. If you cut the tops off, you can sell them as vases/glasses
Loved watching this ❤️ you are one of my favorite channels to watch!! Thank you
Sooo fun!!!. Always make me smile! Congrats on ur hutch!! Emily
Happy to hear that Emily, thank you! ☺️
Just curious why and how all those bottles got there? This is so cool! I love your channel so much!
A lot of times in the late 1800's - early 1900's people would use creeks as places to dump their trash!
@@WILDKYLE That makes sense! It's just so interesting to watch you guys find things from so long ago and think about the person from the past who drank that and what they were doing at the time.
Awesome!!! I can’t wait to see y’all’s next adventure looking for antique bottles!
Thanks so much! Hopefully very soon!
Soo much thanks for putting the names on screen!! This help so much!! ❤

Usually when u find those broken coke bottles there was a bottling company near by cus they were known for breaking defective bottles by throwing them in creeks
There was one nearby!
Great job man keep it up!!!

Nice! Thanks for the info!
Congrats on the hutch! That black glass wine is really nice too!
I like that wine a lot too! A little chip in the bottom unfortunately, but the color is awesome!
@@WILDKYLE For sure, you don't see many that are that dark.
Love it. I want to go bottle hunting with you.

Congrats on the Hutch! First one I ever found was a surface find. It'd been kicked into the berm by a construction crew. Couldn't believe nobody picked it up. All the best for 2020!
That is crazy! Glad you saved it from destruction hahaha!
Please tell me that you let the police know about that machete you guys found. Awesome video Kyle

Awesome I will check out that link! Thank you!
WOW‼ Cool find

Thank you Kitty! It was very exciting for sure!
Ever take a UV light to the old green or blue glass you find? Uranium glass will glow bright green when hit with UV.
Yes! I just made a video where I did that not too long ago!
@@WILDKYLE awesome! I'm gonna look for that one. I collect UG so I was curious if you found any while bottle hunting.
Congrats
amazing video, i love cris in the end of the vid
Trying to steal my bottle!!! Hahaha
Ummm that dark tunnel, I would have bailed lol. Cool bottles , I love that old glass . The colors

Your reaction to the Hutchinson bottle! Hahaha! Brilliant brother! Congratulations in the bucket find man 👊
Hahahahahaa it caught me so off guard to find that bottle! I didn't expect to find one for a looooong time. That thing was an amazing end to 2019 🙌
WILDKYLE
Oh man heck yeah it was! 👌
Great finds!!! How old is the carters Ink bottle? I have a couple of those as well as quite a few Hutchinson's. Love your videos. Keep them coming.
I have got to get out and try some bottle hunting .
It's very addicting!!! You should do it!
so cool!
Machete used to whack over growth while person walked creek
You can try to detect the stoppers with a metal detector and increase Hutch finds
Wow I never thought of that. That's a great idea!
Sharpe & Dohme are even found out here in Hawaii, found Athlophoros too. Found my last Hutch in 2018. Waialua Soda works, bottle not sold" Early last year found a good guarans 1893. That's where Athlophoros was. Searle was a large chemist/drug for. One damaged Peacock whiskey, rest local was broken. Still was neat digging as it lasted.
Nice great job
Thank you!
Cool guys
Hey guys! Take those chipped lip bottles home and cut them off! They make great glasses or vases! You can do it with cotton string, lighter and some ice cube water. You Tube has vids!
That Sharp & Dohme bottle held poison. The cross hatch pattern on the sides is an indicator that the bottle, along with its small size, was made to hold poison. The cross hatch pattern would've been used to help distinguish, by touch, the difference between a medicine bottle and one that held poison. Awesome finds dudes!
I had someone else mention that too! That makes the bottle waaaaaay cooler than I thought it was. Thanks for the info!
Hey what's up been doing wildkyle marathon this morning just subscribed on new phone been awhile since watch ya heard some your music sounds great going ck out more every body likes Kyle I noticed you get a lot other guys reach out to hang out with ya or vice or verse lol I just remered when you found 2 hand grenades back to back laughed my ass off if get to fla. Great video! Really enjoyed watching it. BTW, Searle was a major medical/pharma outfit-- might still be. There's a Searle Hall at Northwestern U. because the company was a benefactor of that U.
Hey Gary! Thanks for watching the video, glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the info! See ya soon hopefully!
Nice bottles ! But you hugging your hutch lol. I would have done the same thang, woohoo for you.✌
I hug it every day now 😂😂😂
Love the occasional bottle dig vid. Now, I have no idea what a Hutchinson bottle is, but I'm excited that you're excited about it. :-)
Thank you 😊 They are a rare type of soda bottle used mostly in the 1880's through very early 1900's! Very exciting find!
@@WILDKYLE Very cool, especially more so since it is in such great condition. :-)
Great video and I'm sure I'm not the only one to see the brick with letters on it, right beside the machete.. I dont think it was complete though
Thank you! It said Augusta Block I believe, which are pretty common.
I found a soda bottle just like that yesterday in the dirt not broke
That Searle bottle you found could be more than 100 years old. G.D. Searle & Company was founded in 1888. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/G.D._Searle,_LLC
Amazing! Thanks for the info!
Just wondering if you help clean up the area by picking up the broken glass? Enjoyed watching!
Sweet hutch! Congrats. Your in florida? Got a chance of finding a pepsi hutch there. Thanks for sharing.
Yeah man in Florida! A Pepsi Hutch is definitely a goal of mine to hopefully find one day!
Hope you do. I love pepsi bottles. Found tons of old cokes even an amber ss one (my pic on here lol) but no old pepsi ones. Good luck
Great glass ...... wonder what Ashley would have found ,
Hahahaa she would have probably found something even better!
Apparently Jason voorhees goes bottle hunting too haha
Love your videos was the creek cold? 😂
It actually wasn't very cold!
Did you know in sewer tunnels like that there are holes that are part of the tunnel and they go straight down,so its very dangerous,if there was no water, looks fun though.
That is absolutely horrifying! Glad we didn't stumble on one of those holes!
Lol yeah! You never would have found that Hutchinson!
Nice! What was the item that said Augusta something beside the machete?
Find that dump!
I think the dark tunnel is more scary than the big blade lol even the bat was scary dont get bit lol
Not gonna lie it really was spooky haha! I was afraid a bat was gonna fly into my face 😂
I would be too lol
My dad comn down there umm is Cape Coral a good bottle hunting place
Machete was most likely used for chopping the trees down
I was curious about ATHLOPHORUS, so looked it up on Wikipedia.

Interesting
Do you ever find sea glass?
Are you and paleo Chris still doing tours

One time I found a porcelain lady that was missing a head, then I found a dog head that was roughly the same size… you know what I did with them…
That sounds absolutely incredible and I want to see it 😂
@@WILDKYLE I’ll make a vid on it soon 😉
"Where's your wings bro?!?"
Hahahaa I was hoping somebody would catch that part 😂
@@WILDKYLE dude I was laughing out loud! So hilarious!
Agate Dad me too !!! 😂😭😭
@@leahgrady61 too funny!
@wildkyle @agatedad I love that you two are friends...you both are my favs on UA-cam. 🤣😂🤣 Also yes the “bat lizard” who was deprived of wings was a knee slapper. Then again you have some comedy gems in all your vids lol
Hi Kyle
Also what time period is the Hutchinson bottle from?
They were used a lot in the late 1800's through very early 1900's!
Scary machete.......big foot dropped it!
My thoughts exactly!
still waiting for us to meet up and do a vid
Nice hutch!! Did you check hutchbook.com to see if its listed?
Thank you! I didn't know about that before but just checked it! There were about 2 others that looked like this one. Thanks for the link!
