You got yourself into some tricky situations in this one! Wow, that one spot in greenpath has gotta be one of the worst spots to die in. This episode was painfully relatable to me - not knowing where to go, forgetting things you've already done (like rescuing the grub behind the husk guard), struggling with bosses the community considers easy (Giant Mosscreeper fucked me up the first time, he's just so weirdly hard to dodge), not knowing how to pogo, and dying a lot. Really reminds me of my first playthrough. I'm glad you found fungal wastes, a new area always re-excites you when things aren't going so well. In the beginning there are still so many things you can't do in each area which can feel a bit disheartening sometimes. I always liked to keep track of these points I wanted to come back to using the custom pins from Iselda. Can't wait for you to explore further!
Oh yes, that day I felt like I was going crazy 😂 But you managed to put into words exactly how it felt to me as well, it's so scary but so exciting at the same time! That Giant Mosscreeper terrified me when I first saw him (as well as its smaller versions) because he's just so big! And every time he just emerges from the ground, that rumbling sound he makes almost feels like I can feel it in my chest! Bro's coming like a Shai-Hulud from Dune 😂 When I finally killed them and realised how easy they are to kill (despite the big boi being hard to dodge) I felt a little dumb for being so scared of them 😂 Now pogoing in Fungal Wastes with keyboard is an absolute NIGHTMARE for me, it's so finicky and just not accurately responsive sometimes. Later on when I got my controller and eventually returned there, the ease of pogoing on the pink mushrooms was incredibly satisfying and I wish I had experienced it like that from the start 😭 At some point I realised the use for Iselda's pins and actually started putting them to use but I definitely wish I had realised how useful they are much sooner. I'm pretty sure I would get lost much less, even with the compass 😅 Thank you for coming back and continuing to enjoy my series! It'll keep getting better and better so I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I did playing it 😄
