agree wholeheartedly, remember when city couldn't score against leicester in the 18/19 season? kompany took it into his own hands and made sure city won that game
Because of all the success we've had this feels just as bad as all those years fighting relegation battles. I'm getting flashbacks to coming back from Maine rd and going straight to bed.
Your friend Buvey has just claimed “if you can’t win a difficult away game, just get a draw” about Aston Villa… Please remind him of the last year he’s spent saying it was embarrassing Arsenal didn’t go to the Etihad and smash the treble winners at home. “No excuses” 😂
Pep has been handed incredible teams on a silver spoon his whole managerial career. He started with Prime Barcelona, then Bayern, then Man City. The knock on Pep is that he's never been handed a poor squad and turned them into great teams like ALL of the other great managers have done. Pep is now proving to the world that when he doesn't have the best players in the world around him to execute his intricate tactics, he doesn't have a clue how to win games. He hasn't a clue how to take a team who is on poor form, poor spirits, and get them to FIGHT and GRIND out results. He will continue to push his tactics and when they don't work, it will be the faults of the players.
Solskjaer beat Pep's city 3 times in a single season (1 in the cup) when they were good doing what Villa did today. There's nothing crazy about what Villa did today. City are just shit.
Pep is a silver spoon manager being found out for what he is - way overrated! The man allowed Cole Palmer to leave Man City and clearly couldn't see the diamond he had - deserves sacking for that alone. Pep owes his entire reputation to Messi, Iniesta and Xavi!
This is what city need, Ederson will leave in the summer. So a No1 goalkeeper. £50m? Walker will leave. Right back £50m? Stones and Ake will be sold due to injury records. So two Central defenders, £120m? Rodri backup £60m KDB leaving so a world class CAM, Wirtz or Musiala 120m? Better wide forward as Bernardo Silva or Grealish will leave, Leao? 100m? Haaland backup 60m. All in all, for City to become a world class team again they need to spend around £500m+ imo.
City trying to avoid being punished with relegation by getting relegated by themselves first. I do hope this is the beginning of the end of the Pep way of playing football because it's drained the joy out of the sport over the past 15 years.
Man City players have downed tools because they know the result of the 130 charges. They know they're going down with a huge points penalty and realize there's no point in trying to win games.
Guardiola is a trust fund baby. His tactics are undeniable amazing, but he has been handed everything on a silver platter his whole managerial career. You want to take over Barcelona. Well, here's Messi, Iniesta, Xavi, Busquets, Puyol, Villa. Oh, you want a change, how about take over Bayern with Robben, Ribery, Neuer, Muller. Fancy another challenge? Take over City who have dominated England for years already. As soon as it goes wrong, his tactics go to shit because he can only work when he gets everything his own way. He could NEVER have taken Aberdeen to a European final and beat Real Madrid. He could NEVER have had a team dominate Englad for 20 years like SAF did. He could NEVER win a league and CL with Milner and Henderson like Klopp did. He could NEVER take an underdog team like Porto and win the CL like Mourinho did. He has gone through his career with a silver spoon in his mouth, so he has never had to learn how to deal with things when they don't go how you want. He is a tactical genius, but an overrated manager. A manager is more than just telling your players how to play, but it's being able to drag your team through hardship. Drag them to results even when things don't go your way. Drag them to adapt and overcome adversity. Never compare him to SAF, Klopp or Mourinho, because each of them would have succeeded with the exact same team that Pep has been given, but they would not have EVER gone 2 wins in ten games, let alone 1 in 12
I dont think this matters mate...opposition not really the relevant, they are capitulating against anyone. Tottenham, Feyenoord and United all average sides and look what happened...
These are the facts! Pep ball is old now. The modern style of football finds weaknesses in Pep's system. Plus the intensity of this team has dropped 10%. That combination has created a rapid decline. There is a moment in every good managers career when this happens. If you are around long enough. Some coach will find your cryptonite. It's now a matter of how he reacts. He has to adapt or fade away. Same as Wenger, Mourinho etc. Can he ride the storm?
Rory, I've watched your videos for a while without subscribing because I'm a Liverpool fan and your Chelsea. But I really like your analysis and you're very fair in your assessment. Anyway....new follower now 👍
Totally understand why your focus is on Man City so i'm gonna have a quick chat about Villa!! We were on them from the kick-off!. Jhon Durán should've put us 1-0 after 15 seconds!!. Ortega then pulls off an incredible save to stop Pau Torres header. And then the first goal...Martinez -Tielemans (glorious pass)- Rogers - Durán - GOAL! ⚽ Quick, simple but every touch was perfection. Soaked up some pressure before HT. I expected City to really come at us after the break & it didnt happen!!. Rogers his the post after a great little move, he should've scored. But his goal was top quality, he started the move, took on 3 players, played it to McGinn, he slides it back to Rogers who has ghosted in, one touch! GOAL ⚽ We were going wild in the Upper Holte End. Even though they're on a bad run that was a strong City side & they're the defending champions. I walked out the ground a bit peed off that we had conceded that scruffy & a bit lucky consolation goal, we deserved a clean sheet & probably a couple more goals!!. We all felt we got stitched up at Forest, the foul on Rogers & the blatant foul by Anderson on Cash, we didn't deserve to lose that game. So this was a great response today. Morgan Rogers, £8m from Middlesbrough!. Clubs don't have to go & spend BIG 💰 on every signing. Unai & Monchi watched Morgan who was very raw, but they knew he could thrive in a Unai Emery side. In 11 months he's gone from The Championship to The Champions League & got an England cap!!. Amazing. Tielemans, got him on a free, Leicester fans scoffed & said he's slow & lazy!. WRONG!!. And Jhon Durán, we were prepared to sell him to West Ham in the summer for £40m, but David Sullivan wouldn't pay the asking price!!!. 4 months later, 12 goals, turning from a super sub to a superstar!. His price tag has now doubled, he's just turned 22. He's keeping Ollie Watkins out the starting X1. 2/3 successful signings over the next 2 windows will see us challenging for silverware. Rogers & Durán have both just signed 6 YEAR CONTRACTS. And Boubacar Kamara, one of the more most underrated players in the Premier League, will be putting pen to paper in the next few days. Jacob Ramsey will soon be fit. 4 points from Monaco & Celtic will probably seal a Top 8 place in the Champions League. Unai Emery is just a master, he's at the training complex doing 12-hour days. We've installed a bedroom for him there!!. Exciting times to be a Villan Rory. Now crack on about City mate!. As you were!! 😉🦁 UTV

Guardiola it's an excellent manager. No doubts about it. Also... He has been a manager of the greatest teams on their strongest eras... Also a fact. So he was the greatest manager of the strongest and wealthiest versions of those teams. Just to think about it.
@thaaLoverboyy9944 exactly! I mean if you have the fastest car in the race, you can be a very good driver and that's awesome if you win... But you had the fastest car to begin with...
The same fall off happened with Spain in 2014 after years of dominance. It wasn’t technically Pep, but that great Spanish team was effectively his Barcelona team (minus some small bloke wearing the no.10). In that case it was Xavi getting older that seems to have been the catalyst. This time it’s Rodri. The Barcelona team didnt have the same fall off because they had that guy Rory talks about who would just take hold of games and do it by himself (literally).
I can't put it down to anything other than match fixing at this point. I genuinely think the league has told them to pipe down if they want to avoid 115
Love how every one says villa and city have been poor all season and they can't get worse! Get there in the top 6 still. So what happens when both find form .
Lol the way our midfield is porous is so hilarious. Gundogan is literally a hologram. Either sell him or bench permanently, he is useless. Kovacic isn't a real #6. Losing all duels, cant read play. Having a guy who is only great on the ball and terrible off it, as your 6 is just abysmal. Also, Kovacic just came back from injury, why is he a starter? Why can't Jacob Wright play? Why can't a Savinho be allowed to make mistakes at 20 as an actual winger but Bernardo continue to coast in games. Why can't McAtee play over Gundogan when the latter played as a 10 today? I just don't get it whatsoever.
The fact that City decided to sell academy players like Lavia for 20 million and Palmer for 40 million without giving them a proper chance in the first team or at very least a move on loan is unforgivable. Especially when they saw how the Sancho situation turned out.
Haaland is a direct player in a indirect team. Even when they were playing good you would see him make good runs or take good positions in the box and be ignored. As Pep's philosophy is anything less than 95% precenting pass shouldn't be attempted (only de Buryne seems to be exempt). Pep when this crisis is going on will either need to change philosophy to start playing more risky passes and crosses, or just drop Haaland, going for the false 9 again. Edit: And to reply to Rory, no striker would be able to do anything in that system. Henry, Shearer, Kane etc. would do nothing playing on that team.
Talk to me, Im in the chat now!
what percent of this form can you blame on the rodri injury
With that squad it is not a excuse. The arrogance of not buying a backup for Rodri was insane.

Never thought I would hear Villa fans chanting "Sacked in the morning" at Pep Guardiola. Just goes to show how bad City's crisis is. 😂
Haha. Villa always have had good support. Excellent numbers everywhere.
Because of all the success we've had this feels just as bad as all those years fighting relegation battles. I'm getting flashbacks to coming back from Maine rd and going straight to bed.
Worst title defence ever
Your friend Buvey has just claimed “if you can’t win a difficult away game, just get a draw” about Aston Villa…
Please remind him of the last year he’s spent saying it was embarrassing Arsenal didn’t go to the Etihad and smash the treble winners at home.
“No excuses” 😂
Do they know/guess the outcome of the court case better than us? No future, no motivation.
They are literally Rodri fc at this point
Lost his nail file, lost the plot lost the dressing room, lost the league and soon to loose 130 more times
Solskjaer beat Pep's city 3 times in a single season (1 in the cup) when they were good doing what Villa did today. There's nothing crazy about what Villa did today. City are just shit.
Daddy Sheikh pumping 500m more in summer dw
Going to hard to do in league one though
@@Moleoflands ahahaha
Yep. Been saying pep can't be the Goat noways! Cheque book manager
Those days are over. They can't cheat like they used to.
Now Man City fans finally know how it is to be a United supporter😂
Pep wants out of this club. He knows that it’s a sinking ship of 130 charges
Biggest decline in the UK since Barrymore had a pool party….. they don’t even have the fan power to pull them through like Liverpool has 😂😂😂
Pep is a silver spoon manager being found out for what he is - way overrated! The man allowed Cole Palmer to leave Man City and clearly couldn't see the diamond he had - deserves sacking for that alone. Pep owes his entire reputation to Messi, Iniesta and Xavi!
This is what city need,
Ederson will leave in the summer. So a No1 goalkeeper. £50m?
Walker will leave. Right back £50m?
Stones and Ake will be sold due to injury records.
So two Central defenders, £120m?
Rodri backup £60m
KDB leaving so a world class CAM, Wirtz or Musiala 120m?
Better wide forward as Bernardo Silva or Grealish will leave, Leao? 100m?
Haaland backup 60m.
All in all, for City to become a world class team again they need to spend around £500m+ imo.
City trying to avoid being punished with relegation by getting relegated by themselves first.
I do hope this is the beginning of the end of the Pep way of playing football because it's drained the joy out of the sport over the past 15 years.
This shows that Peps ball doesnt work over time. Its a new age
They are blocking a spot for real premiership teams like Leeds, Blackburn, Oldham and Swindon. Get them relegated
Man City players have downed tools because they know the result of the 130 charges. They know they're going down with a huge points penalty and realize there's no point in trying to win games.
A wise Arsenal fan once said. "It's time to go"
Guardiola is a trust fund baby.
Never compare him to SAF, Klopp or Mourinho, because each of them would have succeeded with the exact same team that Pep has been given, but they would not have EVER gone 2 wins in ten games, let alone 1 in 12
Well said .
I think the problem is that the only person in a Guardiola dressing room allowed to have a personality is himself.
Brown nosing Jamie Carragher?? That loser scored more own goals than actual goals
Rory, Klopp showed class by retiring when he he had no more to offer and that LFC could never sack him. Pep should go ball's deep and just resign 😮
My big question is, is this all because Rodri being out? If it's not the overwhelming reason, then City is really in trouble.
I wish this would carry on but their next fixtures looks a breeze.
Anyway....new follower now 👍
Welcome, sir. Thank you.
You can’t be relegated from the Premier League if you are not in the Premier League. 🧠
Rory’s spitting here, they’re not allowed to play with flair or they’ll be subbed so they’re just going through the motions
And now they need a hero and there isnt one...
this notion that they have no flair is hilarious
😉🦁 UTV
Can you do an in depth timeline of Chelsea since Abramovic. Including your opinions around the time, use some of your old videos as a reference to how you felt during the time. An open and honest assessment of your feelings and how they compare to your current position.
This is the first time we can judge how great Pep is
Guardiola it's an excellent manager. No doubts about it. Also... He has been a manager of the greatest teams on their strongest eras... Also a fact. So he was the greatest manager of the strongest and wealthiest versions of those teams. Just to think about it.
Nvr had to manage an average team in his life. Fergie won the UCL with Aberdeen, enough said here.
Was this a eulogy to Man City 😂.. excellent commentary 🎉
100 and 10 % agree with with you comments on Haaland.Pity Aguero Balotelli is not in their prime.COYG
I wonder how Forest did not take advantage of this promotion. Its either you pick All 3 points or get 1 at least.
I can't put it down to anything other than match fixing at this point. I genuinely think the league has told them to pipe down if they want to avoid 115
Quite poetic at points. Big fan!
Love how every one says villa and city have been poor all season and they can't get worse! Get there in the top 6 still. So what happens when both find form .
i kind of feel sorry for them even as a Liverpool fan, just imagining this happening to any other would be so sad getting so many l's out of 12 games.
Can see this happening at Arsenal if Arteta doesn't loosen his grip. You can actually see them playing with the handbrake on...
It started when they lost the FA Cup final last season.
Stay humble eh. 130 FC is a disgrace.
I am still laughing! STAY HUMBLE EH! Karma is real!
Arteta is just a chill guy, and Haaland went and angered him for no reason.
