Did you consider a piano hinge to join the two panels? Or did you want the versatility of being able to remove only one at a time and leave the other panel in place?
Never even considered it. I wanted to keep it as simple as possible so to offer more versitility. I even have one I haven't used 🤣. Without it, I have a smooth surface, and I can easily remove them one by one or just lift them up one at a time. I like to keep it simple.
