@natereynolds2960 Yes, you're correct DC on a Bluetti AC200 Max and or the B230 battery! 2 seasons, no problems with the Hcalory. Had one we ran prior for 2 seasons also. I believe the issue with so many UA-camrs content creators received 8kw units to test. This heater is 5kw and works great! 8kw would be way too hot and use so much more power on low settings. Hi! I love my Soul! And I agree...it will be a bit more comfortable than a tent. Yeah good point...if you ever plan to have passengers ride in back, you would want to keep your seats installed. Never even considered it. I wanted to keep it as simple as possible so to offer more versitility. I even have one I haven't used 🤣. Without it, I have a smooth surface, and I can easily remove them one by one or just lift them up one at a time. I like to keep it simple.

They sure come in handy! Might be a little hard with all the plastic in the Honda Odyssey. 🤣

@danielgray7305 Heck, when I looked, they're $79 for the bluetooth right now. I have a feeling something newer and cooler is coming out. 🙂 I really like that Hcalory pushes their designs. Giving far more choices they any other company on the market. A non spill gas cap would be welcome. How do you travel with your heater to avoid diesel spilling? Yes, I did say don't waste your money on bluetooth since the app doesn't work with Android. I do like the heater. I just don't understand how hard it is to write code to work with Android in this day and age. Hello Charlie, I have not. The TurboNap is a 3 inches with 2" of dense foam and 1" of memory of $699.00 ($649.00 sale). The HEST is 4 inches with 2 layers of 2" memory foam $749.00. We had the chance to try out our friend's (Brian Toyota Overlanders V1 #384) HEST Foamy 25"x78" $299.00, which was absolutely amazing! He has 2 of them for his truck. This was before HEST was making them for the GFC. I really loved the HEST, but I didn't want to give up the Trans-Form-A-Floor system, which I also love. When HEST dropped the Dually Platform 50, it was a no-brainer! You'll see a lot of folks on the GFC forum jump to the HEST or go to the Exped. Then they get tired of blowing them up. So then they jump to the HEST. So why not just start with the HEST. With 4 inches of memory foam, you can only imagine which would do better 3" or 4" I'd rather have more. I can check with our contact at HEST to see what the plans are for the next batch. That's great! I am loving my Xterra...do you sleep inside or in a RTT? @@OutOfOfficeCamping I sleep inside it. I can fit lengthwise because I'm short. So I fold down only the larger side back seat and keep the other one set up. Seems to provide more storage space that way.

Oh cool! I too sleep inside. I do fold down both back seats as I enter and exit from the rear driver side door. So roomy in there! I like the alcohol fire pit for hanging out and the simple makeshift heater rain cover. Trash bag genius!

Yes, that's really cool. I like the ceramic one but a metal one could be safer to travel with. Also, I found 91% rubbing alcohol gives you the highest and strongest flame. But it does burn mu h quicker. Yes, the good old contractors bags. Great for everything! Thanks for watching and the comments. - Mark

Jeff LOL yes I like to mix it up. Normally, me and Teresa just head out on adventures and camp. So, while we try to keep it simple, we do like to get out all the cooking stuff. This was my first time out with both Brian and Chris. So I really didn't know what our time would be for food since we did a lot of driving. We, too, like the freezer dried meals. I also prefer to see all the smallest numbers since most tape measures don't have them. Not to mention, when I don't have my readers, I can remember the #. Plus, since I'm dyslexic it really helps me be better at my math. So if this is your reason not to take my advice, you should simply go with what works for you! - Mark

Definitely some super fun small curve roads. The COBB cooker is super cool. Little to big for our camp rig. This was why we went with a Lodge Cast Iron Dutch Oven. It's not as large in size and just a hair less weight. Not by much LOL. We will say we have enjoyed a great deal of tasty chicken from Brian's cooking. -M
