Whether Dottie Pepper should have said what she said is debatable but I will say she knows more about golf than her male announcer cohorts on CBS. She’s an amazing golf analyst.
The US team would not have told Sorenstam to rehit her chip shot if she had chunked it instead. Even though they were within the rules to do so, it was still cruel and unsportsmanly of the yanks. Well they lost the Cup that year anyway.
Looks like you are not a tournament golfer. So before criticising professionals, you better study the rules of golf! BTW: match play has its special rules! Sometimes it’s better not to give short puts - even tap-ins! Picking up your ball before asking is just silly! Just like picking a ball that „hangs“ on the edge. Simply never touch your opponents ball. If you want to criticise anything than it’s the crowds behaving. Shouting while a player hits his shot is the most unfair thing I can imagine!
Funny. I thought this was going to be a highlight video, and it was completely devoid of actual footage of “highlights”. Aside from that, the first still picture of Dottie Pepper as an announcer is from the 2007 Presidents Cup. Be better.
Just when you think that the USA is the greatest country to ever exist (for eternity), this video is produced and aired which proves the USA is the greatest country. {NOT !🤬}
Fun to watch, however in the #3 craziest moment segment, the narrator was referring to Anika (as assistant captain) and the video showed Lotte (Liselotte Neumann) TWO different times. Come on, man!
This is what a corporation controlled golf tournament looks like - a soap opera - because it's not about golf, it's about ratings. No different than the gladiator sports of 2,000 years ago and pitting Christians against gladiators or wild animals. Stop watching this soap opera stuff and go play the game. Or as the renowned psychiatrist, Dr. M. Scott Peck - who was characterized as "The Conscience of Humanity" - said in his book "Golf and the Spirit": "We can all agree that sports are metaphors for life but golf is different. Golf is not a metaphor for life, it IS life." Soap operas are NOT life. Change the channel.
SOLHEIM CUP is here.. Please subscribe to support the channel🥺
Korda’s ball wasn’t over hanging so was never going to drop. But lesson learnt
Go team Europe

Not bitter or biased in the slightest here 😆😆😆
"How america is better and everyone cheats" 😂
Sliding into number 3..... here's number 3 😂

None of this would have happened had Sorenstam followed the rules and not shot out of turn.
Players play out of turn all the time in fourballs and foursomes it was scummy ofnthe yanks to ask her to replay it @richb5050
#8 should be #1.
Hold up a sec... #6... So after the cup was won, the remaining 5 matches were conceded... That means the Europeans lost those points, right?
Tell me this is an American post without telling me this is an American post...
Because it’s dog sh*te?
Tell me you’re unoriginal without tell…. Wait you just did
Someone got shot without any reason

Many of these are NOT controversies. They are just stupid, bone headed mistakes.

USA bias???
just a little bit
Just when you think that the USA is the greatest country to ever exist (for eternity), this video is produced and aired which proves the USA is the greatest country. {NOT !🤬}
They like to think they are worst and rudest golf fans in the world mash potatoe and getin in the he from 400 + from the tee box 🤡🤡🤡🤡
Playing out of turn… match play is cruel. Sometimes they make you hit short putts, too!
would the USA ever win if the Koreans were included ?
We need to set up that tournament, separate from the Solheim competition.
Getting harder to tell on the US team. It has become nearly indistinguishable.
9/10 controversies were because of the rules committee. Maybe the rules committee needs to learn the rules and let the golfers play.
What would hype do without background movie music?
Fun to watch, however in the #3 craziest moment segment, the narrator was referring to Anika (as assistant captain) and the video showed Lotte (Liselotte Neumann) TWO different times. Come on, man!
These all seem very petty to me. Nothing to see here really!
