Hi Mate, I think the reason because first start your bike runs to hi on RPM, its because you had close the gas valve before starting, so the carburator have low level of gas, and engine its lean. At second run carbrator its full, so run smoothly Amazing Bike!
I'm going to say this much because I'm experiencing the same problem..... Did you take apart the float bowl and measure the float height....... Because if it's dying on idle and not acceleration the carburetor is probably over flooding itself and like you said you did all these combinations with different Jets different screws it won't matter because the flow is too much and it has to do something with the float bowl and how that is set up by itself....
Yep, at one point I thought the floats were causing it, I tried to adjust them to decrease the amount of fuel in the bowl like 5 times. That did nothing so I went the other way and increased the amount of fuel. Again each time I changed it there was no change in the bike running, run at high idle for about 3 seconds and die………..
Thanks, it took me about a year per bike to restore them. I worked them at a slow pace and I had to save money to buy the parts, I have about 3k in the CR and about 6k in the KX (including bike purchase), the KX was in far worse shape. I had to buy another frame for it, the bike was really messed up. Thanks for watching
@@dirtbikesandmore1574 I have a 01 Cr125 and am running the 38mm pwk airstryker and once I got it netted for my mods the power difference was insane and it’s been a great carb! We got it off of the Kiehen website
@@unlithopedien4552 I'm running a 55 slow jet, 170 main jet, and the air screw is at 1.5 turns out. The needle had no markings on it when I got it so I just left it, the needle clip is in the 3rd position. I'm guessing the needle is around a CEL or a CEJ per the "Jets are Us" website chart. However I'm just guessing here. Thanks for watching.

Hi, is it posssible to get the link? I bought one but its not working... Thank you!
Ithe new carb looks like it could be a knock off... any concerns?
That's what I'm thinking as well. The one that has the Sudco on it I think is the real deal. Thanks for watching!
