Wonder if that's a coolmath issue-they sometimes force devs to make random changes to their games-or if he was just lagging a bit. Or maybe both...?
I just checked and you are right, his version seems to be sligthly slower, I think it's just because of lag because he played it on web while I played on standalone for obvious reasons... although he had slower deaths so this would still be faster.
@@DEDERTEEE Yeah, I didn't mean to imply his was faster, just that there's a difference there. I think there's a slight difference in the level transitions, too, which could be a coolmath thing. His starts each level completely against the edge of the screen, whereas you've got a little gap there. I mentioned that because I know of another game, O-Well by mmatt_ugh, where coolmath added a random change to the beginning that adds ~.6 seconds to the run. I asked the dev about that, and he said they requested it for whatever reason. So I recommend never playing anything on coolmath unless there's a specific category for it. Especially for O-Well, which has an src leaderboard now. (And the wr was done on coolmath, so free save right there!)
@@hahhah42speedruns yeah I banned coolmath version once before for a game I don't remember which one, there always some differences or versions that never got updated. Anyway I did some quick math with video editing and his run seems to be like 1,25% slower, which sums up to his time being 2 seconds slower compared to the time he would've gotten if played on my version, so it would be a 2:31, maybe a very high 2:30, instead of a 2:33.
