I was having a brain tumor removed. So after I woke up from surgery I was so happy that I cried, I was happy I didnt die. I really believe Jesus was and is watching over me :)

I didn't think this song was pertaining to me but as i sang the words, I couldn't help but sing them and cry at the same time, and I finally realized what this song was about and I was finally ready to hand my life over to Jesus COMEPLETELY. I just don't believe in it anymore, I wanted to, but couldn't. I started researching and reading the Bible everyday and realized it's most likely not true. I believe the stories happened, but I don't think the miracles happened or that Jesus was the actual Son of God, etc. There are contradictions in the Bible and different versions have different meanings. There's too much to explain in just one UA-cam comment, but I hope you can understand. I still have some Christian morals like not judging others and treat others the way you want to be treated though.
All About Jazz Even the Old Testament tells of condemnation for those that don't believe in Yahweh the one true God. And you are so right about versions contradicting themselves. Man has manipulated different versions and done a horrible "number" on them. Pretty sad. I can tell you from experience hell is real. I had a six year period where I was demonically attacked during the night. Every single time I experienced it I commanded by the blood of Jesus for them to leave and they did! Every time 😊 I wouldn't change those things for a million bucks cause it is my proof that what I believe real. It made it tangible for me. Would you maybe just consider instead of the research start just praying everyday and asking God if you are to reveal that to you. Ask for an encounter that will open your eyes to the truth and I have no doubt he will show you. He loves you and wants you back. Faithful Watcher First off, I want to say thank you for caring enough to type this out to me, I really appreciate that. :) I tried praying everyday from age 14 to 17, but besides the beginning, I felt very distant from God, like there was no spiritual connection. I began losing faith more and more everyday, but I wanted to believe so much. Tried talking to my parents, grandparents, and even a prophet guy about it, I just can't believe. Some people believe that the refining forge mentioned in the Bible is where people go instead of hell, but it's temporary, similar to Purgatory except it's where everyone who doesn't believe in God goes and then they go to Heaven. I'm not saying I believe that, just stating a theory. You said you can confirm hell is real, because of a six year period of demonic attacks, if it's too personal, you don't have to, but could you elaborate on that?
All About Jazz happy too. I grew up seeing too many who call themselves believers misrepresent Christ. If we truly are followers of Jesus we are to walk in his ways and his love. I truly care about you cause I can feel the love that Jesus has for you. The Holy Spirit, when we give him the opportunity, allows us to love and see everyone like he does. ❤️ I pray all the time I can change people's minds of what a Christian is. If we laid down our lives and picked up our cross like the Bible says we should this world would be a different place. Jesus is so loving and reaching out to everyone, they just have to listen. Until recently, all you needed was to mention demons and people would look at you suspiciously yet demons are the angels of satan who he sends to operate in our lives. Your teaching today is particularly special as it covers so much and all I can say is thank you for encouraging us to pray without which there would never be a breakthrough in our lives. The Todd Becker foundation came to our school a few months ago, and they have the band Chye touring with them, they covered this song, and it was truely amazing.. i cried a lot that night.
