That's because the media only want to portray him as a monster rather than an upfront, honest human being.
@@Sidneyyoungblood75 Exactly. Keane has the ability to see through BS, especially the media's BS,.Whereas, the Guide Dog charity are genuine people, so you would see Keane more relaxed and at ease.
@@Aerojet01 The Irish guide dogs charity wouldn't have had anything to do with him if he was as bad as the media make out. However, as Roy says in the interview the charity made him an offer he couldn't refuse..... a bit like the mafia.

Keano epitomises someone with honour and respect. A true warrior and human
Roy Keane is just a normal person who happened to be a damn good footballer and was totally professional and dedicated to his profession, always giving 100% in every aspect of the game. All Roy expected? was for his team-mates to give the same commitment and obviously showed his distaste and annoyance when it was'nt forthcoming and it really does surprise me that some people believe the 'image' that has been projected of him. But it is really nice to see Roy in such a relaxed situation doing something that he is also quite passionate about and giving whatever he can to support this charity. (Yeah! it is nice to see him smile more than we are used to aswel,lol). Tc Roy Keane, best wishes to you and your family.

Absolutely beautiful interview. He's a very sensitive soul is Roy. We all make mistakes and blow our top. Show me a single person who hasn't. A very humble character

I've seen a lot of Roy Keane interviews but this is probably the best. Insightful, funny and obviously for a good cause.
+Johnny Brew Same here. Roy Keane always does a good interview and it's a refreshing change to hear about things straight from him rather than via the media.
Well done Roy Keane, who clearly does not do this for personal acclaim, but uses his public recognition to highlight a most worthy and deserving cause. This is what life should be all about, we should all give back in anyway we can.
Roy Keane = legend. A brilliant footballer but a misunderstood person. He's done loads for charities in Manchester and Ireland.

I was at a Sunderland Bohemian match in Ireland years ago. The Sunderland players signed autographs afterwards. They were called onto the bus. A little boy started crying because he didn't get Roy's autograph. Hearing this Roy got the buss stopped walked over to the little boy pet him on his head, gave him his tie and signed the autograph. That's Roy Keane.
He seems much happier here compared to when he's doing punditry. Good for him.

I would not be a great lover of social media but it’s a privalge to be able to access the likes of this interview and I’ve always argued with people about how down to earth and honest Roy Keane is and you see it all here he’s a huge help to the guide dog association but didn’t mind being interviewed and keeping it real good honest answers and wit a great example to any school boy players and what you see is what you get
A true warrior on the pitch..drove the team forward with his attitude and grit..and fought for the club..unlike some of the geezers at the club now...who jus throw the club under the bus for self gains

Really enjoyed this interview. I always knew the cantankerous, argumentative character on television was a bit of an act, but he really seems like such a thoroughly nice man.... much more than I thought he'd be. I was surprised.
