You can’t expect much from these Chinese companies, they are only in India to scam Indians with their cheaply manufactured rejected leftover products from Chinese market.
I think it's high time govt should step in and tell all the brands about standards of quality like we have in other products.
All led panel used in these phones are manufactured by Samsung😅. Samsung ke upar action Lena chahiye. 2022 ke baad manufactured panel mein koi issue abhi Tak report nenhi hua (according to my knowledge). That's why I prefer IPS LCD..

It's already a big fall for OnePlus bro.
OnePlus is not the same company as it used to be 4-5 years back.
I have a Oneplus 8T (12GB, 256GB variant). Bought the phone when it was first launched.
After a recent software update got a single GREEN line on the screen.
Gradually as days passed by, more GREEN lines kept on appearing along with few WHITE lines.
As of now I have a total of more than 30 GREEN and WHITE lines on the display screen.
I haven't repaired the phone, as everyday it reminds me not to buy Oneplus phones anymore.
Oneplus is no more the old flagship killer brand that people appreciated. The sooner you realise the better.

Please think twice before buying a costly Oneplus phone.

You are right brother. I got mine (8T) repaired 6 months ago. Facing same problem again. I will try to get it repaired for free, but if unsuccessful, I will keep using it as a reminder.
The line issue in the OnePlus phones is definitely the hardware issue. The company should Replace it under warranty. As a OnePlus user I luckily never faced such an issue yet but after watching their poor service and extremely rude behaviour I am never going with OnePlus again. That kind of customer service is a big big downfall for OnePlus in India.

@@brar_zone I also had the same issue with my mobile, visit your nearby oneplus service centre they will replace it for free else you can raise repair request from the app itself, they will arrange the pickup and will send the mobile once repair was done.

यह एक सॉफ्टवेयर issue है। ये मेरे oneplus 8 pro में दिक्कत हुई थी। भाई इसका 1 ही solution है कि रोज भाई सभी apps की clear cache करो और जितना हो सके safe mode में चलाओ। one week में सही हो जाएगा।

I have the same problem. I got the green line exactly in the center of the screen. I went to the oneplus center and they ignored everything and ignored the fact that the problem was due to the update but kept saying its the hardware
I have purchased Vivo x60 2 years ago. Last year October my phone got green line issue with security patch update. I visited service center they refused to repair my phone free of cost. I posted the story in Twitter from where I came to know many Vivo x series user are facing the same issue. Among them one person shared that his x60 having the same issue and out of warranty was repaired free of cost in his local Vivo service center.
The sad part is that I had to replace my screen @10k. As a college student it cost me too much.

People buy premium device to get smooth expensive but in my case I faced lot of ignorance with my issue. Even when I called Vivo x care they only gave me hopeless hope but did nothing 😢. Don't buy BBK electronic products

Not only bbk bro, my mother's Samsung m30s had bootloop issues( due to the dreadful Exynos soc) and eventually died, but the service centre completely ignored and said there is physical damage. Wow. I think we are giving too much powers to this MNCs lately.

These problems are due to software incompatibility and push software updates full of bugs and OnePlus 8 & 9 series are majorly having this green kine, pink line issue since 2 years but good thing is that you can get it replaced free of charge by the OnePlus Service center even if the device is out of warranty as the problems are due to company's software update

@@naidub2940Most probably they won't. Also even after getting it fixed, there are instances where consumers reported that the green lines reappear after few weeks.
I think it's better to avoid OnePlus phones as of now.

I even had a same green line issue on my OnePlus 9r phone and it only started to happen when I updated it to February security update this year. The service centre in connaught place delhi told me it was manufacturing defect and my screen would be replaced free of cost provided there is no physical or water damage on the screen. They replaced it within a day. I don't know about other oneplus service centres but OnePlus Connaught place service centre is fantastic.

Even for widevine l3 issue in my 1+7t they took more than a week and said only visit our exclusive service centre if you want your phone get repaired which is 500km away
My vivo x60 was out of warranty and it got the same pink line isuue. I thought I had to pay hell lot a money but to my surprise, they replaced the display totally free of cost and it took only 2 days(they did not have the display,it arrived 2 days later). I gave them my phone at 11 am, they repaired and returned it at 2 pm. The guy at the service centre was very helpful too. I'm totally impressed with vivo aftersales service.
I had a very bad experience with poco (motherboard issue). Coming from that, vivo is far far superior. Keep it up vivo❤
I've been using OnePlus 8T from 2020 recently I got the green line on my display and I visited the OnePlus service center they checked for any internal damage and having found no damage they changed the display free of cost with in one day...

I'm encountering the same problem on my Vivo X60 that I bought in April 2021. The initial green line showed up in December 2022, right after a software update. After contacting the service center and local shop, they suggested the issue might be due to the phone being bent, and the only solution was to replace the screen, which would cost ₹9,500-quite expensive. I learned to tolerate the green line, even though it's annoying and draws questions from others. Unfortunately, I can't afford the hefty screen replacement cost. In July, a second green line appeared on the right side of the screen, also following a software update. Using the phone has become uncomfortable and it feels like I've been deceived, having invested ₹35,000 in Vivo.
Brother chinese brands acha performance dete but very poor software. Samsung lo aur kaam khatam karo. One ui best. Peace of mind is more important than specs

I have faced the same issue. The line came after an update. The service centre denied repairing it at first. It took around 1.5 months for me to get this repaired under warranty.

I bought OnePlus Nord in 2020 and took device at service center to fix proximity sensor issue in 2021 (warranty 1 year 6 months)
but after service, Nord display & back panel both start degumming after a weeks. That's why I exchange (₹14,280) it with Nothing Phone 2a on Flipkart.

I do not regret buying Motorola Edge 40 over OnePlus Nord 3. saved money and these type of hectic customer support. I would be satisfied with late updated over update which can cause me these issues.

Moto phones have started to get green line. My Moto g82 got green line after software update and worst part was green line came after 1 week of my warranty got expired. When I searched on Twitter i got to know moto g52, g82, edge 30 have already got prone to green line. And worse thing is moto is not providing free screen replacement if your device is out of warranty. Kudos to Samsung and oneplus atleast they have admitted the issue and providing free replacement.
I am so glad that i purchased IQOO 7 legend back in 2022 October instead of OnePlus 9R and 8T my friend purchased 8T and he got green line issue which was luckily fixed because it was under warranty.
All were saying OnePlus has better brand value like i phone best software, now results there are 🗿I am still rocking with my latest Android 13 with literally zero bugs lags no performance downgrade 🗿

My oneplus 9r already got the green line issue so i went to the oneplus service center in Siliguri on 14th july . They told me that my phone will be repaired for free of cost but i will have to wait for about 15-20 days.
Green line issue was happened last year 2022 on my moto edge 20 device and it was fixed by moto care center at zero cost.

Hi sir, I just went to Vivo's service centre for My X70 Pro phone that I had bought from Thailand, which had a green line suddenly at night on charging, although it was on warranty they initially said screen cant be replaced, but after talking to their head and understanding my condition they accepted my case and got my screen replaced. And the best part they gave me a secondary phone to use meanwhile My phone was in service centre. I am so Happy to get Vivo. Best camera so far!
P.s. These services are only for Vivo premium customers (X series devices)
I got green line issue in my 2 year 3 month old Vivo x60 after update.
Service centre told me that we don't have display in stock, after the display stock comes , we will check your phone , if there is no physical damage we will change it free if your device is older less than 3 years.
After display arrived after 4 days , they contacted me and told ,please visit service centre by tomorrow, if you will not reach service centre by tomorrow we will provide the display to another users, because they got display orders from 3-4 customers for same issue, I visited service centre by next day, they checked my phone and found no physical damage and they finally replaced the display along with the chassis (they come together) within 1 hour of visiting service centre for free.

I had the same green lone issue on op 8 pro , oneplus fixed it for completely free , within three year of purchase op replqces the display free of cost thats their terms but the good part is even after replacing the green line might occur so i bought a S23 hoping not to have any issue , now the S22 starts having green line i wonder what will happen next to the S23 lineup

I had the same issue with my OnePlus 9 two times.
1st time on april of this year, I had a green line issue after 7days of updating my device.
That time I went to authorised service centre of kolkata. They offered me free replacement.
Later within 2mnths I faced the same issue, this time the line was pink coloured 😂. 2mahine ke andar ek mahina to device aisehi pada raha, bcaus I didn't have the time to shift from one device to another. Shifting mei time lagta hai bohot, ekdin to lag hi jata hai sara apps download karke login karne mei, upar de 16gb ka photos and all. Aur 2mahine mei kolkata ka exclusive service centre bhi bandh hogya 😂 now there are no exclusive service centre in kolkata. This time i send my device to delhi via pickup and drop service. And this time also they repaired my device free of cost. Ab main socha tha device sell kar dunga. Bt sell karke kharidunga kya? Sab device mei prblm hai. OnePlus 11r mei pink line/green line ka prblm hai, nothing phn 1 mei bhi green line report hua hai, moto edge 30 mei green line aya tha, to edge 40 mei bhi asakta hai ye sochke nhi liya, Even google pixel 6a mai bhi green line ka issue hai, to pixel 7a lene ka bharosa nhi hua, Phir iqoo neo 7 mei same issue hai. Neo 7 pro mei bhi asakta hai ye sochke nhi liya. Aur bhai samsung to chhod hi ho. Wohi asli culprit hai iss game ka. Yesab sochke phn sell kiya hi nhi. Ab god knows kya hoga aage.

@@sky.1505 i visited to the nearest one, paltanbazar guwahati, assam. 9700 display price+ 250 labour charges. i filed a complaint in consumer helpline, but they rejected said moto doesn't have this green pink line issue, they haven't got any complaint earlier. so they won't fix for free.

My 8t got green lines after the Android 13 update but our Guwahati service center repaired the display free of cost, only catch is your phone should not have scratches (minor scratches are not an issue)
Issue is with AMOLED screens. Probably we need a different type of screen panel.
Its not only One Plus. This is happening with all the major Android Brands. I am having Vivo X60 pro model and after an update 2 lines have appeared on the screen one green and a pink. At service center they didn't replace the phone saying it is water damaged. The phone was working absolutely fine before the update :(

I have replaced my iQOO 7 screen and back glass TWICE! I must admit that the service was top notch. Both times, they replaced it within 1 to 1.5 hours with no waiting. They were also very professional and friendly. I live in Lucknow.

I think its time to appreciate Samsung, Apple for doing it at free of cost for issues like this.
I am OP 11R user and i had the same issue but after 1 hour of strong debate they agreed to do it free of cost. If you dont have valid point they will simply throw your request.
I will never buy OP again and will soon replace it with Samsung or Apple.

Yeah my display (9r) has changed even in 2024 . Just wait if display would not available, and regularly visit the centre for like ( 15 or after 30 days) , you definitely get brand new display for free ❤️

This happened to my Samsung Note 20 Ultra, I have created short about it as well..
I went to Samsung Service Center, and they were happy to replace the entire screen display for free..
But my back panel was loose, it was almost open
So they did not replace it for free, they took 23000 to replace the screen display..
But yeah if this happens with Samsung premium phones Samsung is happy to replace the screen if the phone has zero damage..
Also, Samsung has two different policies, for premium phones even after warranty is over, they have warranty for updates, any damage happens due to updates they will cover it, for Note 20 ultra it is for 3 years, so 1 year normal warranty, 3 years software update warranty..
For less premium phones I think this period is less and for some phones updates related warranty is not there at all..
So yeah, thought to share my experience related to Samsung :)..
I have decided not to update my phone going forward or update it at service center..

My experience was very good, my 2yr old 8t had same issue but got 32k from OnePlus for new phone

I bought samsung A51 in feb-2020, it's july-2023 I still don't know where the samsung service center is, because It still works fine, it never ever had a single problem with anything, it fell so many times without case, the every time it fell the screen protector breaks but not the glass,I love samsung

But mera yeha ek sawal hai sab bhai log se aur youtubeers se ki display to change ho kar mil raha hai lekin phone ek bar kholne ke bad uska IP68 khatam ho jayega to fir kya water damage ka

I also got green line after the update issue with my Vivo X60. I have recorded everything. It is on my channel. I showed the video to service centre and they replaced the display for free, otherwise it would have taken almost 10k from my pocket

Hi from EU🇫🇮👋. This was scary to watch! And now OnePlus will try to upgrade to Android 14 faster than competition on many phones in a week or two‼️ I wonder how that will turn out? 😲😳. Anyway I didn't buy OnePlus Nord 3 but I am considering buying a Motorola Edge 40 NEO instead as it is cheaper and better. Motorola shouldn't have the same green line problems, no?
Motorola phones have also been reported for green line issues.
My one plus 8pro face the same issue got the display replacement once and facing the same issue.
When visiting the service center they are saying the phone has water damage ( when phone is ip68 rated )
For people who are faming samsung is best
Including my budgetm series samsung phone got display issues
And it's also non replaceable
Now currently i have nord 3 and i am ok with it (i have not used enough to tell my experience)
But as much as i know oneplus phones which were manufactured between 2020 and 2021 phones got display issues👍🏻

i had Oppo - OnePlus 9R for 1.5 years and i exchanged it for OnePlus 11R.
Luckily i did not faced this serious issue but i faced a small dot in my new 11R and they gaves me new phone

I have a one plus 8 pro. All of a sudden I saw my screen become green. I checked on the one plus community, there many users had the same issue. Some mentioned the screen fine in 7-8 days automatically. Some said it took 10-12 days.
Some said they updated the phone and it was fine.
I did it all. Nothing happened. So I went to a service centre after 15-20 days. There i met a guy who had the same phone. And the service centre said he needs to get it replaced. He sent a legal notice to one plus team and then he got it replaced for free. I was told the same. Since I had been facing the issue for quite long and was facing irritation, I had to pay 17,000 inr to get the screen replacement done.
I told them the same scenario and I called the customer care and they said there is no solution other than paying for the screen replacement. This was a very bad experience.
Nord 3 lene ka soch rha tha. Abhi lu ki nahi gupta ji ?

Replaced my Nord CE battery at Pune service center few weeks ago. It was amazing they replaced it for about 2K rupees as phone was out of warranty and the entire replacement was done within 2 hours. The phone also looked amazing and it didn't even feel like it was opened up

Mera experience theek raha OnePlus service center patna k saath 😊

Hey stranger, thanks for your suggestion, but I already replaced my screen for free in January for the same green line issue and i got this line again on this new display today, so now I am a bit confused about free replacement on my case.
But one thing that I wanna make it clear here, I'll never be an OnePlus customer in future for these pathetic issues and not to good service centre experience.

Downfall of OnePlus has started ! My friend suffered for green line issue in his 9R and he went to service it , after 18 days he got his phone back and after that numerous other problems started in the phone including back panel and display coming out from phone , and after visiting 3 nore times still it didn't get fixed , he finally is buying new phone .(Not OnePlus )
