It's easy to replicate with a splitter, eq and scope though.
BOTH the Splitter & the EQ caused Phase Shifts when monitoring -- this plugin appears to do no such thing 😎👍

QUESTION: I take that when comparing to finished mixes we need to put this last on the mixbus/mastering chain. But where do you recommend placing it when not comparing? I was thinking 1st, right before any mixbus compression/eq/tape/limiting etc.
Great question! I wish I would have mentioned this in the video. It probably depends on what you want to use it for, but I would put it very last on your output bus so you can get the full picture of what your audio output actually looks like. Just be sure to bypass the plugin when exporting your music.
Hey Bobby, how would you go about analysing/checking kick above/below bass with a plugin like this? Specifically in a context such as comparing reference tracks. Thanks for the video and plugin. Hope you’re well buddy!
That's a tricky one! Because this plugin is focusing on the time domain, you really can't tell easily if the kick is above or below the bass. For that particular instance, a frequency analyzer would probably be a better option even though you lose the ability to watch the waveform happen in real time. I personally use both sub ninja and a spectrum analyzer now when mixing and mastering music because they help identify different things about a mix. Hope that helps Sean!!

how do I put separate tracks on the top and bottom? can this plugin alter the audio or do you have to use separate plugins to make changes?
It doesn't alter the audio at all. It just helps you visualize what is going on with your mix so you can make corrections even if you have a bad sounding room or no subwoofer...
I want an analyzer like this where you can click and make alterations instead of using another plugin and waiting to see the changes@@RaytownProductions
The next future is A.I. to extract stems for bass and kick and snare with separate waveforms...in the meantime how to optimize the inner settings of Voxengo Span to partially overcome its limitations (ff window, time constant, bandwith, etc...) ?

I dont get it... You can actually clearly see on proQ where the kick hits.. Also you can sidechain the view and layer both visuals of kick and bass on one Eq spectrum... Why are you telling we can not see it?
It's a bit complicated, but you lose significant frequency resolution at lower frequencies. I'll be making a video sometime soon that shows you how bad frequency analyzers are for this purpose...

It’s didn’t give me an option to enter the CODE. Had to pay for it, and that’s OK, it’s not expensive. Though it’s annoying when you say it’s FREE, if one uses your CODE.

Bobby, Kaspersky detected Ninja as a trojan and deleted it. Any solution?
It's NOT a virus - but it's being detected as one. This is a known programming "bug" that Jay is working on fixing. Sorry for the false positive!

I see problematic to use It well, You must ALREADY know wich is the right frequency of kick and bass BEFORE to set It to visualize. Why not to have a visualization to compare kick and bass? Because at now Is not possibile...at the moment I use sonnox claro and good headphones, and right hpf not only for the side.
There is a new update coming with a side chain feature to color code the visualizer so you can more easily see kick/bass for example. It's pretty amazing!
Kickshaper does more and does it better

Greatest classic records ever were made with a 3 band eq if you were lùcky 4.. Tape, 1 console desk la2a 1176 , reverb...NO SPECTRUM ANALYZERS, ETC.. I WONDER WHY? Could it be cuz..THIS IS AUDIO, not VIDEO!

This plugin is for people who have subpart monitoring systems and rooms. Most classic records were made in studios.
Classic records were mixed with ACCURATE reference monitors, and always had to check their mixes in a car and other stereos to make sure they translated properly. Don't fight against progress!
So, basically, skill issue
I had to click off you just showing things to without the practical aspect so let us see how it helps you fix the kick bass or lows. I had no patience since you could never prove to me how HOW it helps fix something only showing reason why this kick and rest of the lows. thanks you messed up with explanation and could ruin a perfect product. why most typical western cant explain things is beyond me
