Someone who's used to prioritising the wellbeing of others, pushing her own issues and problems aside and bottling them up, having to learn to take care of her own mental and physical health is such a compelling character arc?? The "oxygen mask" effect in action - making sure she's safe first, otherwise she physically will not be able to help others. And the backstory and her having a very valid reason to be wary of youkai? chefs kiss. I wish this was an actual show so bad lol

When yo-kai watch medals hit stores i went on a mission to get one of rhe nokos and i was soo happy when i had finally gotten a noko in like the 50th pack i bought. (I got bloom Noko btw)

YOKAI WATCH!!! I DISNT KNOWNIF ANYONE ELSE HAS WATCHED IT! IT TOOK FORVER FOR ME TO FIND IT AGAIN BUT I LOVE THE SHOW SO MUCH. It was literally my whole childhood.

3:09 The sailor cuties were right there! 10:51 makes sense to me but it's always funny considering that when evolving noko loses his healing technique in favor of an earth one 13:00 getting real forever friends vibes here Also just overall for some reason with the alien and different ethnicities other than pure Japanese it sort of feels more like this is a story that would take place in BBQ starry burger rather than Springdale nom burger(which is a chain so I guess it could also be a BBQ nom burger) but that's probably just me associating aliens in yo-kai watch with either 3 or Y-academy and Springdale with Japan and BBQ with merican stereotypes

It’d be so cool if you made an actual comic about this, I’d read it in a heartbeat if you ever did, and if not stickers would be cool too!!! 🎉🎉 I also have a headcanon that Zo will literally speak their alien language in front of a human and humans would just think Zo’s speaking another language

I like how Zo/Starry Noko/Tshuchi Star thinks that she doesn't have to play a character for humans to like her and that she can just be herself meanwhile the humans think she's also a human in a costume playing an alien character because what if they found out she was an alien? Would they accept her or boot her out of society for being the alien she is? ALSO Robonoko's design is SO COOl & i can kind of relate to her!!!,,, although, i think my favs so far would be Zo and Sam!!!!!

Gotta add, I rarely see anybody explore mixed cultures a lot. I mean, people do it, but I don't see them really exploring the mixed identity and the struggles that come with it. Usually, people just slap a multiracial background on their characters because it's cool but don't have their character being relatable in any way to mixed people.

Robonoko/bloominoko are my favourites !! the colours are just SO scrummy !!, and i cant get over how smooth and clean all the lineart is :D
