I wanted to release the tournament review on Monday but I was absolutely exhausted from working 12's all weekend, then the late Pauper Tournament I hosted and played in Sunday. So I took a mental health day to just relax and chill with my dog. That's why I release 2 today, had to get right back on that grind for my subs and followers!
That's the first deck I wanted to build when Ifirst learned about pauper in 2016 and also is the first deck I built when I got back into magic earlier this year. Over the years it aged like fine wine💜
It's a timeless classic that still feels like OG Pauper format that still can perform somewhat well. A true testimony to the past days of the pauper format!
how i hope this was true @@GoldLotusPauperMTG, i think it won't see unbanning because when thinking of it in a mb shell is not threatening, but it could be easily abused and crack lots of mu via the sheer probability o destroying very good hands
I'm not, I actually play it in my Golgari Reanimator deck, the ability to look at the top cards and choose one is sooooo helpful in hitting Exhume and Dread Return then dumping the rest into the gy. I think people just see a ton of text and assume it's a bunch of jive

I built this deck as my first pauper deck its so cool to know its still around
It's still played quite a bit on the local tournament level! People still love this deck and swear bye it!

It's absolutely an option! I think it would also help in the later game with the flip side to kind of drain and gain them.

Why is everyone sleeping on Rowan's grim search? That card is so strong

It's slow and is a much better fit in some combo decks, where you're looking for specific cards.
