Ethan Winters finds out his wife Mia has gone missing somewhere in Louisiana. Unknown to Ethan: Mia's being held captive by The Baker Family, a Southern family seemingly deranged and openly hostile to the outside world, except for their daughter Zoe, who may yet help Ethan out of this mysterious nightmare he's gotten himself into. In a race against time and The Bakers, Ethan will do whatever it takes to save Mia from her captors and get out of Louisiana alive, or die trying.
