- I first visited El Salvador in 2019 and I'm so happy to visit again! This time I headed out East to La Union, the Gulf of Fonseca and Puerto Barillas.
I went on a boat ride to Isla Zacatillo as well as going out with ProCosta, an organisation that helps protect turtles in El Salvador!

I think now is the time to visit El Salvador as your experience will be raw since it hasn't been developed for tourism, unlike Costa Rica and Panama. And it hasn't been polluted by cookie-cutter giant hotel buildings and fast food places near the coast.
I appreciate you sharing this video. I cherished El Salvador. Of course, the beaches add to the beauty, but I really enjoy to saw the meal you showed us in the video. The rice and fish were cooked to perfection, and it goes without saying that beer enhances the flavour of food. However, you mentioned that it's really hot outside these summer days, so I'd like to know if you think it would be better for us to go now that it's so hot outside?
The camping on the espiritu de la montaña is beautiful! Recommend staying there for the sunset and sunrise!
