I went to visit Lago de Coatepeque in beautiful El Salvador. It's a huge lake flanked by hills on all sides and is one of the prettiest regions in the country. I stayed at a lake house by the water and rented kayaks to explore the lake!

Los extranjeros tienen mucho valor de salir solos y en buses a sus destinos turisticos.
Cuando fuimos de la universidad al cerro verde nos encontramos a un Tailandes y un Ingles
Y le preguntamos como habian llegado ahi
Y nos dijeron que en bus. Cuando regresamos se vinieron con nosotros en el microbus hasta Santa Ana, de ahí dijeron que tomarian otro bus hacia sus hoteles.
Vaya que valor😱 los admiro jeje
Uhmmm pues tuvieron suert q no fueron atracados x basuras humanas (mal llamados pandilleros).
También es porque vienen de una cultura distinta. Allá no tienen problemas en caminar y usar el transporte publico. Lamentablemente acá en El Salvador tenemos esa mentalidad de querer tener carro y usarlo aunque solo sea para moverse tres cuadras.

La taza de criminalidad contra turistas extranjeros en El Salvador es CERO, ninguno, gracias a Dios. Así que al parecer ellos están bastante seguros siempre que usen su sentido común de no ir a las zonas más peligrosas, como las hay en cualquier país.

And there are Salvadorans living in the USA 🇺🇸 that are terrified of setting foot in El Salvador because they think as soon as you get off the plane Gang members are going to kill you and mosquitoes 🦟 will instantly give them Dengue or malaria or something lol. It’s absolutely insane. But hey you go girl, enjoy those pupilas , plantains and coconut 🥥 water 😀

I used to spent a lot of time there when I was very young, sometimes the entire summer, one thing I used hate was the drinking water so my dad used to drop regular water for, those day everyone used to pump water from the lake and even when it was filter you still tasted the saltines, besides the I used to loved it and every time I go back home I go there at least for a day, glad you are seeing all these beautiful things that this little country offers, Alex take care and and happy traveling
