- Hello and welcome to Saabkyle04! UA-cam's largest collection of automotive variety! In today's video, we will take an up close and personal in depth look at the 2012 GMC Yukon Denali. During this presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the vehicle is all about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel economy, the occasional track data, and build quality. Also, I will teach you how to use most of the interior and exterior features in a detailed fashion, that before, you could only get from going to a dealership yourself! Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and exhaust note with interior and exterior perspectives. I wish this car have in Malaysia. I have experience when I ride this car in saudi Arabia. GMC Yukon Denali XL. Very nice car. quite and so comfortable. Ride from Makkah to MADINAH with this car and very comfortable to sleep on the journey

The interior design is amazing!
I have this exact model and color combo, still driving it and love it. Regarding the exhaust, I too still think it sounds great every time I start it after all these years.

I guess it depends on what you are used to. If you are coming from a car, then this kind of vehicle would be disappointing but I have owned several Yukons and expeditions as well as 4Runner and explorer. All of them have been about the same, average 15mpg over the life and I’m ok with that except when it is a gutless 6 cylinder like the 4Runner. I love this big v8 and it’s Mpg is the same as the Toyota six. Doesn’t make sense but true.

Had an '10 Escelade before getting my '12 Qx56 and I must say, GM has done a wonderful job with their luxury line!!!! A very powerful SUV and it is also a show stopper u will def get noticed in this birth or it higher trim level counterparts!!!!
The gmc looks so fancy but in real they have a youkon gmc xl and the other one is gmc youkon too! 🎉🚗

GM suvs are currently my favorite. The new Ford Explorer is Front-Wheel drive, which is alright for most vehicles, but I expect an SUV to be rwd with optional 4wd. Also, the interior is more stylish and the suspension is more well built for offroading than the Explorer, which is a restyled minivan.
I'm looking at an 01-06 denali to purchase. But mann this is nice! :) another great video Kyle!

Are you kidding me? If any generations of the yukon looked like a nerd, it would be the new one. It even looks like its wearing glasses. The front headlights extend up the fender like the part of your glasses that go over your ear XD.
I used to think this one was lame as fuck lol. The new one at least has a more burly grill and better front entertainment system. This one is boring compared to the new one. But it is _far far far_ away from ugly. I'd buy one in a heartbeat if I had the chance
I agree. The current generation just doesn’t look good, the interior on the previous generation looks better. The interior on the current generation just looks super tacky.

I agree, the Tahoe with the LTZ grille is much more understated class while the Escalade has much more in-your-face bling.

The plus/minus buttons on the shift column are for "manual shiftability", as said in the video and also displayed on the dash with the large "M" at the end of "PRND". The button you're referring to is called the "tow/haul" button.
Great review as usual. With gas prices spiking, a few videos on economy cars or other vehicles that peopel can afford to buy and run would be great...

Alex Nuñez yes it does and it was built in my hometown from 2001-2009! Pride of my city, my family worked for GM for three generations.
If I won the lottery this would be my first car of choice after seeing all the interior features or an avalanche!!
Congrats GMC! watching this video, probably a lot of ppl won't say anything of stupid about the trim and the size of the suv 'cuz now at the General M. is improved the quality. Thx to the big engine 6.2L V8 the haters gonna hate on the sound the city/highway MPG'S but the lovers gonna say "THANK U GM!"

Love the Tahoes, Yukons and Escalades but for the price they're going for new I'd probably go for a used Lexus LX570. The interior quality of the Lexus plus the refinement is absolutely amazing. I do like these SUVs though.

5 years later the Motor went bad on my 07 Yukon Denali XL. Oil Pump went out and it isnt holding Oil Pressure. Not safe to drive her at all. She has 350,000 Miles.

I know it's just a magazine, but the one I have right in front of me says that the GMC Yukon Denali 4x4 did 0-60 in 6.3 seconds & ran the 1/4 mile in 14.8 @ 94 mph. Pretty damn quick.
Love the Yukon! Better than the Suburban by far.
I normally HATE big SUVs such as the:
Range rover/ land rover
Porsche cayenne
Audi Q7
BMW X5
Or any other for that matter.. But this Yukon and the ESV cadillac are just BEAUTIFUL! I'd have one any day.

Hmm....That's a tough question. There aren't major differences so both are cool. But I recommend the Yukon.
