The Raw materials can always be preserved, to continue and adjust its standards and practices in farming, logistics, and harvests distribution. When you see this and realize the employees are basically making $2-$5 per day and living a pretty spartan lifestyle (I outsourced a lot of manual analysis work to Sri Lanka and they are very low cost labor even in white collar stuff), so if they can come to America, Canada, EU, Australia, etc. and make $10-$12 an hour and live a slightly better than spartan lifestyle and send money home to help their families, you can bet they would do that in a minute. Can you imagine any 20 something in America, Canada, EU or Australia wanting to do this work for $10 an hour? Makes you realize modern agriculture either has to be cheap labor or expensive automation/machines to be economical for staple products.

    I am not so sure but something not right in your explanation.
    1. First product in the bottle look like virgin coconut oil, not exactly same with cooking coconut oil. Virgin oil is mainly use in cosmetic, suppliment etc.
    2. Second product in paper box is coconut milk extracted from coconut meat.
    3. Coconut milk powder and coconut flour are not same. Coconut milk powder is a dry type of coconut milk extracted from coconut meat. Coconut flour is grinded coconut meat .

    • @Kelum1980
      @Kelum1980 11 місяців тому

      1. Wrong. It is white coconut oil (or someone can name it virgin coconut oil too. But, normally we are not using that term). It is expensive than the yellowish oil. But both are edible...

      @@timngim583 So if you got to 0:24 and watch the next two scenes, you will see these plants planted in rows. Then if you go to 1:31 and watch it there for a bit, you can see there is nothing else growing except coconut palms. these are plantations that used to be rainforest. They are not wild plants growing along rivers and seas. They are planted in large plantations. Harvesters do not wander along rivers and seas hoping to come across coconut palms. It's just what it is. Palm oil plantations are in the same boat. Buut, people got to make a living, right?
