New growth path for stokvels

The stokvel industry is getting younger, more tech-savvy and is diversifying from mere savings societies into investments.
That's according to a report by market research company Ipsos.
The survey also shows that many Stokvels remain cash-based due to a lack of trust in commercial financial institutions.
