A after watching this video and changing my battery I was ashamed of myself for buying this battery 2 weeks ago and being hesitant about changing it myself. If you take your time it'll take you about 45 minutes max. Ive never changed a motorcycle battery and it took me about 35 minutes cuz I was refering to video thru every step.

Changed the battery twice on my FXDWG ( HAD IT 18 YEARS)
1st time I did it , took me a while to realise I had to undo a bolt to let the battery drop down for removal .
You think those engineers would understand? Is a battery is replaced and shouldn't be buried

Man that’s annoying that they make something that should be one of the easiest things to get to so hard. Do you trickle charger your battery? When I had my Harley I kept it plugged up when It was parked.

I have done it ounce on my Fatboy 2018. Never ever again. But have they been thinking!
I have a 2018 Fatboy also. Im curious why you say you'd never do it again? It wasn't easy but it wasn't as hard as I expected either. The battery was $159 so the savings on labor cost was worth it to me.
