Good catch. LibLathe (as of 2021/03) only supports certain pre-defined inserts. I had to "approximate" my manually ground tool with one of the insert profiles. I am trying to add a user defined tool tip to LibLathe, but no luck yet.

I've found for certain materials a large nose radius can provide some really good finishes versus a sharp narrow radius or even just a point.
