Great video. I want to upgrade to the Ip Connect module.I just need to get clarity on my understanding. Will the IP Connect module work without the HYPP Modem. I dnt need offsite programming. I have a SMS Alert1(non IDS unit) module installed.Im keeping the SMS Alert installed as an extra burglary backup notification system setup,connected to the siren as a pulse output. Or connected via PGM with relay.
Need some assistance please. I have updated zone names on the App. But it does not update the keypad. How I can sync the app to transfer the Zone names to the keypad?

Hi I added the Hyyp Module but it does not sync. Must my panel be on a specific version of Firmware. I see coms over the router and no errors on the modul( no flashing lights) . i enter 9999* 196* * # ( the panel does not request the pass code). Please help
contact IDS call centre, i have had ones that cannot sync and they have to do a setting on their side. Spent hours with those panels only to find out it was nothing i could fix without their intervention on their side.

I have power but according to the flashing lights, it seems like the modem is not giving an ip. Also the network lights green and orange does not flash at all. Can you please help?
Hi, yes the router have DHCP active. This is a normal Huawei router like on your video, i have done al the steps, but the like keep on flashing like its not getting ip from router

thank you.Yes the IP module works stand alone and does not need the modem. the HYYP modem can configure your panel but is not a requirement.

try 999999. Otherwise your installer has set it to something else. You can reset the panel and it will default the code.

yes, disconnect as it uses the same serial port.
