I've been swimming in the sea three days a week since the beginning of my microlocs journey. I put my hair in a single bun before swimming, and rinse and wash my hair after while it' in that same bun. My hair has been flourishing and my loctician complimented me on how well my locs are doing. (I didn't tell her about my water shenanigans haha). My curl pattern is very small tight curls and those suckers love to tangle and loc together. I haven't experienced slippage and very little unraveling, but I can't recommend my approach to everyone since everyone's hair is different. But it's working for me!
Bless Up Sister Queen! My name perimeter are all three strand braids! My ends are yet all open and #braidingandbanding is yet a must! Frizz is welcome! I do want to add loc sprinkles along the shaft of My locs as they are no where near maturity!

I never braid and band. My loctician doesn’t braid and band either. She just washes my hair and reties.
