Even when you think you know Dan, he can still surprise you.
Basically, I'm a huge Iron Maiden fan. But since I've discovered Dan, I must admit he's a much better singer than Bruce Dickinson. Because Bruce has a very powerful voice, but he's pretty much always in the same vocal range, whereas Dan can do absolutely everything and does it freaking well! He really is amazing! Very few singers have such a range of voices.

@@janeteitsworth8824 He certainly did! I like his version better than anyone else’s, but there are a couple moments in the song itself that almost remind me of a toddler shriek during a meltdown so that song is not one I’m going to play regularly, (just occasionally, for the novelty.)
Just type in “Kate Bush Wuthering Heights” into your search bar if you’re curious to see the original. (I think it’s creepy. Dan does a much better job.)
Kate Bush originally sang that song in the 80's. Dan's version of this song is better in the ears, in my opinion. Kate Bush was a bit too screechy on the ears.

The first time I heard this it shocked the sh1t outta me, I was like YES YES YES YES YES!!!!!!! I think I rewatched it at least a dozen times in a row. Like a lot of people, I discovered Dan through his Amazing Grace drop at Easter this year, and I've been mildly obsessed with his voice ever since (the package that voice comes in ain't bad either...👀) I'm afraid Dan has spoiled me for other versions of the songs he has done, including in most cases, the originals...☺️
The richness and tone of his voice is such that it makes anything he does soooo much better. He could make an absolute motza as a modern day crooner, like Isaccs or Buble, or any of those style of voices... could you imagine?... Tom Jones style knicker throwers everywhere he went...sorry, I went wandering off on a little adventure in my own mind...🥴

The reason so many wanted you to see this one is for the exact reaction you had to it...
