Seeing how she was pre-baby (anxious, seemed depressed?), she is probably having a hard time adjusting to mama life. Extreme depression after kids is very common.
Sleep consultant? Just let the baby sleep when he wants to sleep. Some babies sleep through the night, some don’t.
Regarding your Instagram post about the baby not sleeping through the nite - my son did that as well from birth to about 8 or 9 months old. If you’d like to Google it, it’s called “being a baby”. Usually moms/dads get up and feed their babies when this happens. Sometimes it can be as easy as a diaper change or just needing to be held and comforted. I would suggest trying those things, maybe add your own twist to it because you know, all babies are different! ☺️

Nothing ceases to amaze me by seeing grown women, mothers in fact tearing another mother apart. Just remember that you too were once a first time mother, remember how that felt for a second before you comment on Megan’s parenting and before anyone comes for me with nonsense I am a mother of two and I had a rough time being a first time mother with PND and comments that Megan gets would have torn me apart, be kind and maybe offer advice or encouragement rather than tearing her apart. You’re doing a wonderful job Megan, Kaden is beautiful

My baby CRIED DAY AND NIGHT for the first two months and a half... They're precious stages we all moms experience with our babies. I KNOW IT'S SO STRESSFUL but thinking about it at the end of the day we only have to enjoy them because those moments are never coming back
Fernanda Palma I hear you! My first was SO hard! He would cry & cry & cry. My second is a lot different & much more chilled & quiet but when I look back at my first I can’t believe he will be 7 this year. It flies by & those hard times become a distant memory 😞

"Disappointed" "Disconnection" and "Aggravation" - Mmm, ok. If that's how you see that, nobody can change your opinion. However, I do think you're holding her at a high standard because she's a UA-camr who chooses to share her life 24/7. You forget that this woman is human. I may not be a mother but I too worked in daycare for a long time and the "sigh" at the end is a regular occurrence. It doesn't mean she's disappointed and disconnected from her son. Being a parent is a full-time job and she just recently had a baby; give her a moment to figure everything out. Not every mother and father knows "everything" about their baby. Parenthood is about learning and growing, it doesn't mean she looks at her son as a burden. She chose the responsibility called "parent" the moment that baby became a reality. The only one here who is disappointed is you. Megan is doing all that she can for her son... stop putting her on a high pedestal and expecting her to know everything and anything about parenthood, etc. She's human just like you. Have some compassion.
iladylegendary I was a new mother once & I had a much worse face than her. First timers have it hard, some do better than others. We all can’t be picture perfect mothers especially the first time, give it a rest
I honestly don't understand why someone would "sleep train" an infant. They're babies. They are not young children who need to get in a routine for something like school. Babies aren't meant to sleep for hours on end without waking up to be fed or changed. Did she seriously not know that being a new parent meant sometimes losing sleep? Idk, the whole thing seems lazy and self centered but that's just me.

Completely agree with you ladies ! I have been a single parent since day one my sons father passed away before birth and my son would wake up every 2 hours for at least the first two months then at least 2-3 times a night the first year to eat ! That was what he needed and I would Give up all my sleep to make sure he could eat !

It’s really weird how you force your baby to sleep through the night. It’s a baby. Stop making excuses and finding “sleeping professionals” to “fix” a baby’s sleeping. It’s normal for them to wake up through the night. Stop being lazy, obviously it shows you weren’t ready to be a mom. Plus you’re a stay home mom, a lot of women work a 9-5 and still come to their children.
Sandra Silva she’s not forcing him to do anything. He’s three months old and she wants to get some rest. That’s GREAT that others mother work a 9-5 and take care of their kids. I applaud them but there’s nothing wrong with having a schedule that works for your family. I’m sure if you have kids, you had a routine with feeding them, changing them, bathing them etc.

@@05heartbeat As anyone who has now older kids know routine means absolutely nothing. They are changing constantly with each new stage of development. With my first I was always trying to get him on a schedule. It sticks for maybe a month or two than when a new development stage or growth spurt hits it's all thrown out the window. Even my 3.5 year old still goes threw stages of not sleeping. Its about trying to enjoy each stage of their life not focusing so much on forcing them to adhere to your needs and wants. Especially when it comes to sleep.

I've been watching your channel since almost the beginning. I have always stayed pretty quite. I just wanted to say that you and Anthony seem like such amazing people. Parenthood makes you both glow so bright! I feel like you out of any other youtuber I watch here receives a huge amount of negitivity for no reason. Nothing I could say would make that go away but I wanted to let you know that you have people who may be silent but cheer you every step of the way. My baby is just a little bit older than hers and she definitely was sleeping through the night at two months, even! Unless your baby is not thriving, there is no need to wake a sleeping baby to feed them. My pediatrician straight up told me that.

And letting him sleep in a Dock A Tot even though multiple people told her how unsafe it is when she was buying things while pregnant.
Courtney Miller but he’s always “supervised” like she never looks at her phone or TV. I am baffled people don’t realize it only takes seconds for their airway to be restricted and being supervised is just a -I know it’s wrong but I don’t care nothing will happen response.

Me & my husband struggled TTC for years & finally God answered ours prayers & we were able to conceive🥰 extremely thankful !!! love that little boy to pieces but it is really hard & I struggled A LOT in the beginning thought I was going crazy (which I kinda was 😩 PPD) because it’s rare for people to share everything the good & the bad. So it’s just nice to see ReAl I guess

Some people and these comments 🙄🙄🙄🙄 not all kids are the same. Just because yours didn’t sleep through the night so early, doesn’t mean others can’t. My son started sleeping through the night on his own at 7 weeks old. Formula fed babies seem to go further stretches than breastfed babies. Y’all chill.

Watching you be a mother reminds me a lot of how I felt being a first time mom to a newborn. I love my son to pieces (3 years old now) but the experience of having a newborn is like nothing I ever expected. I was emotionally and physically drained. Exhaustion was real. Emotions were real. Questioning everything you do and worrying about everything was real. I felt like I couldn’t feel that way because I would be judged for not loving every moment of motherhood. I learned now that everyone has their own experience and not everything is always glamorous. It’s okay to feel what you are and it’s okay to take care of yourself. It’s a must. When things truly felt like they would never get better, they did. I still struggle with tantrums now, but my son is much more independent, and it’s easier for me to take care of myself and my needs. Just know you’re doing everything you can for that little boy, and you’re not alone. ❤️ I also wanted to add that I loved a lot of the items you showed! It’s amazing the things you can buy for babies now. I hope you’re doing okay and that your family is well. Have a wonderful night. ❤️

My son was always a good sleeper and slept through the night after 3 months! My doctor told me I was crazy when I asked if I should wake him up to eat, she said if the baby is hungry the baby will wake up and let you know! You’re doing great Meg, thank you for sharing your experiences with us. My second baby first baby girl is due June 2020 💗

I hated the owlet camera too. I bought from the actual website and they have a 45 day return policy from date of purchase so unfortunately I couldn’t return it so I just sold it on Facebook market for 100$. Better than having it just hanging out in your house with no use. I end up getting a 40$ camera and that was the best purchase ever!

Hey meg!! Girl I was a teen mom at the age of 16 and my daughter would just cry and cry everytime I would try to get school work done. I used to watch you years ago and I'm so happy to see you have a little one and congratulations on the marriage and baby.
My baby girl is 5 months old and has been sleeping through the night since 8 weeks old but only because I started a routine and stuck with it! Learning the difference between day and night teaches them to sleep through and if they are hungry they will wake up and let you know! You dont have to be strict with it, as long as they get their feeds during the day and they are happy that's all that matters! Routine definitely creates discipline so they know what to expect every day x
