It might be not lip sync, but her voice is weak and sounds like she struggles to sing a single word. I know she worked hard and I respect that, but her singing abilities were always pretty average. She's a great dancer though.

She's singing live while dancing which isn't normally done. Not easy to do. I notice her dance moves aren't as big here as they are in the music video, probably because she is singing live. She's sort of holding back.
You can definitely tell how hard she's trying to focus on her vocals while dancing.
Maybe because sometimes, it's really hard to both sing live while doing choreographed dance moves, especially when the choreography is hard.

This was kind of a chilled out version of her normal performances, but you could still see the crowd so into it. There’s something about her that draws people in, even in this more relaxed performance I could not take my eyes off of her and could watch her dance and sing all day. She’s amazing!

Idk why people think it's so easy to sing and dance at the same time, it's hard to breath to do that even young and healthy. Idk about that . 40 a day did and then them forcing her too keep trying to sound , not belting is easier but its the high notes that strained her. Yet she mimed mostly so how did opening her mouth strain her voice while a tape played up till 2004 how did she lose her voice so quick. However you can hear her trying to sing with it and her natuaral voice at moments. If she had been trained ok she could have used the voice thats different. Christina Bianci imatates the baby voice without damage. She was free till 2008, she was lipping 2004 onwards. What does that say she was free in 2004 and miming. I think its awful what happened to her and the slavery but also her dad didn't destroy her voice because he didn't let her use it. Wreck her life yes, her voice idk.

I started watching this with the sound off and she looks so sad, actually kind of traumatised. I wonder what happened just before she went on stage or maybe the systematic managerial/parental abuse had begun already and she was having a difficult day. Conservatorship. Read her memoir if you haven’t. She lost the spark of performing during that time because it was just forced upon her. I believe they also made her lip sync.

You can tell when she's singing live because she is concentrating more, which is understandable if you're singing and dancing at the same time. Britney is a perfectionist. It's too bad that the lip syncing was required by her "handlers."
