Hi thanks so much for the reply ... So are you just playing e string 3 fret once and then d string 5th fret once ? It sounds like 3 notes being being played If it is index e string 3rd and onto d string 5th ..how do you go that fast lol
@@b1uerogue That's right, I am basically playing three notes. I say basically because sometimes, for example, when I get a little tired, I play two notes and wait until I recover. Now, let me explain how I actually play. First, the 3F on the E string is played once with the index finger, then the 5F on the D string is played twice with the index and middle fingers in that order. In other words, the i-i-m sequence is repeated. The problem is that when you come back to the first E string 3F after playing the third note with the middle finger, the i and m are touching the D string. You will slide back to the E string while keeping the i and m in contact with each other. You will also touch the A string on the way back, but you don't need to worry about it if you have muted your left hand. Then, the index finger should be at the beginning of the next beat. Do you understand? It would be quicker if I did it in front of you, but I don't know if it comes across well in writing. Anyway, try it slowly at first.
Finger order is root with index finger, octave with index and middle fingers i→i→m. Do not break this order. Start slowly and gradually increase the speed when you are able to produce the notes reliably. Good luck.

It is completely just the index and middle fingers. The ring finger moves with the middle finger but never touches the strings.

The difficult thing about this ,while galloping is that you need to hit first the octave string before the 4th string .
