Fascinating. Goint to CUba in 25 days, didn’t realize that my medium-heavy rods are kids toys. I will upgrade everything. Also I did figure out how well a doctor in Ontario iis paid. Saltiga, Twin Power, they are way over 1000 bucks.
I love your channel. I studied in Cuba, pharmacy, but I want to go back. I love fishing. Your videos are so inspiring. If I win one of those G Loomis storage bag, I would pay to have you ship it. Fish on. Your videos are cool! Tight lines.
Amazing arsenal Shaun! I've also been wanting to pick up some of those Nomad lures but have put it off until we're able to travel again. Have you looked into the Saltiga Air Portable rods? They also have some popping rods in the lineup.
@@ShaunOutdoors daiwafishing.com.au/products/saltiga-airportable They are 3-piece travel rods. Probably best travel rods on the market from what I've been able to find. I will probably get the 77MH or the 80H.
Thank you ! Shaun that is an amazing video. Full of information- I wish that it was posted when I first started heading to Cuba to fish! It is crazy how many things that you do, that are the same way that I figured out to do it too:) I love the oversize ziplock bag idea - I will borrow that one from you for sure. I also take old running shoes for wading around in the mud/sand. I tried water shoes but they pulled off my feet when wading near the bridge in Cayo Guillermo - they are still stuck in the sand there somewhere... Sorry to hear about your canceled trips. I had a Cuba fishing trip (Memories - Cayo Coco as a base) planned in May of 2020 with my brothers that we had to cancel and cant wait to rebook. Would love to bump into you on the Hemmingway Bridge one day.... keep your spirits up, we will be back down there before you know it. Let me know if you are ever in the Milton area - would love to talk Cuba tactics. I am still learning after several trips down there.
Glad you liked the video Jeff. Like anything, when you do things enough times you find more efficient ways to do them to.make life easier 😁 Hooe to see you down there some day soon, cheers! 😁😎👍
