The Coin Roll is a neat coin trick where the coin rolls across your knuckles in a continuous cycle. It is one of the few coin flourishes out there, but it looks great. It will take quite a bit of practice to be able to do this smoothly and consistently.

At one time in school I got obsessed with this coin trick plus the other one where you twirl a pen/pencil around your fingers and try to look cool. I watched tons of UA-cam tutorials, got the idea, successfully reached phase 1 of all tricks where you learn how to do it but then never moved forward to phase 2 where you get faster and make it look cool. No matter how much I practiced. Ahh! how much time I wasted 😭😭😭

I love when people think this is as easy as taking two stacks of chips and blending them into one stack, and they're extremely wrong. Everyone I know learned the chip stack on their own, but this takes skill, focus, practice, and patience. If you start getting frustrated, then STOP immediately until the next day. If you're thinking about these steps then your mind is learning without needing a coin. The biggest improvements I've seen with this was after not even thinking about it and as soon as I practiced again, it was like I had leveled up while not tonight about it

Thanks! I've tried this on my own without seeing an example and got frustrated. I realize now my frustration was from trying to take it around my pinkie. Dropping it between ring and pinky makes it doable without the frustration. I'm not good yet, but I can do it now! Wooo!

He teaches it so easily I learnt it within half an hour, and I I already learnt how to do it fast
Don't feel bad if you can't do this at first.
I find it easiest with a quarter even though I have smaller hands. It took me around 4 hours straight to perfect it, and I can use my left hand as well.
If you can't do it try tilting your hand more so it isn't straight. An easy but overlookable mistake. Then it's more like you are catching the coin naturally other than moving it.
Lifting other fingers helped me in the begging and got the coin rolling, eventually you can "have all your fingers down" and roll it.
Something else I didn't pay attention to; don't put it towards where your finger connects. Rest it right below the second knuckle from your nail. It's a lot easier this way.
It just takes lot's of practice, you can watch videos or listen to music and just fiddle with it. Eventually it will be muscle memory.
