Stay out there all night. You and Bradley take turns. We need to know what’s going on in the garden. I guess a camera could work too. But catching something in the act sounds like so much more fun.
12:47 those owls 🦉 you have should have a slot maybe on the bottom where u can fill them either with dirt or rocks to keep them from falling over . We have one for our garden and we filled ours with rocks . 😊
I loved that Amazon toy video and I’m so sad it wasn’t a hit! I have a newborn and feel the same about toys as you. It gave me so many good ideas for the future so thank you!!
DE powder works really well for crawling insects on plants. Just dust all over. You will have to reapply after rain but it’s helped with horn worms on my tomatoes. For the fungus gnats, make sure to kill the eggs that they lay in the soil. I mix peroxide and water and soak the plant and let it drain completely. I don’t water again until it’s almost bone dry or as much as the plant can handle. Having a fan on the plants for air circulation helps a lot too.
Put a camera out then put out a live trap. Not sure if I mentioned this before but fruit flies like to breed in the sink drains. Pour boiling water out of the kettle into the drains do all the drains in the house. I haven’t had but a couple of fruit flies this summer.
I haven’t been on UA-cam in a hot minute but I love that I saw this video cause I’m growing tomatoes indoors and those gnats got me too! So far no tomatoes and they’re super tall. I think I did something wrong. I do also have bell peppers and I got 2 little ones. So proud of that at least lol 😅 sorry your fruits are being eating. It can be disheartening.
Three comments: - A large, realistic fake snake will also help deter a lot of small pests. - Maybe try getting a live trap and baiting it with peanut butter. I've had a lot of luck getting rid of possums and groundhogs with a live trap. Of course you have to be willing to transport the critter to a place where it can be released (preferably across a river so it can't find it's way back to you). - That garden wire is great for tying up charger cords to keep them organized. Gear Ties are the exact same thing but are stupid expensive. Cut off a couple of inches of the garden wire and it will do the exact same thing.
Once u get on the night cam you can trap or protect accordingly. My husband did a small 3 tier deck garden this year. Oregano, basil, mint (in its own pot), habenaro, jalapeño, & ghost peppers ( why ghost I have no idea) but he did pretty good but right now something is nibbling on the leaves. I bought the zevo for fruit flies & worked really good so far so thanks for that recommendation. TFS 😊

Aw I loved that Amazon toy favorites video, sad to hear it wasn't a hit!
Thank youuu 💕💕💕 perhaps it’ll find its audience someday soon! Lol
Fungus gnats are usually due to over watering. Try watering less (as long as your plant tolerates) and it should clear up your problem.
Ahhhh okay!!! I really feel like I usually forget to water though 😂😂😂 but I’ll pay attention now

Must protect those Genovian pears!! My guess is an opossum.
I did save the pears 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 you’ll see in my next vlog! But I think it’s something smaller than that… but I’m getting a camera and we shall see lol

Blink cameras!
Hey Amy, where’s the pearl headband from please? 😊
Anthropologie last year!
What would you describe the smell as? Is it strong or light? For the perfume
Honestly somewhere in the middle! lol that isn’t helpful, but not necessarily light but not too strong!
Is Peter Rabbit in your garden??
I didn’t consider a rabbit… do those come out at night???
@@amylynnthompson yes, especially to get some yummy veggies!
I’m going to add another comment for getting a camera!
It’s a must at this point!!!
