Getinge solves this by its DPTE® System - the Original Rapid Transfer Port (RTP). It is based on the interaction of two separate units - Alpha and Beta - each fitted with a door, a lock and a sealing function. The Alpha port is fixed onto the cleanroom, filling line or isolator wall and the Beta part is the assembly that docks onto the Alpha port. Both single-use DPTE-BetaBag® and reusable Beta Containers are available as Beta assemblies.
Getinge recommends always using the combination of DPTE® Alpha and DPTE® Beta equipment, validated to work perfectly together to greatly improve process efficiency and avoid contamination risk.
