At what age did you start playing the piano? I'm a fairly new sub in Oklahoma and love the piano. I do have a progressive hearing loss currently at 80% so I take in as much of your talent as I can before I go totally deaf.

Peter, when I first found your channel you inspired me to learn piano. When I turned 16, I bought myself a digital piano online, and within a year I can now successfully play 3 songs; Yiruma-River Flows in You, Ludovico Einaudi- Nuvole Bianche, and Yann Tiersen- Comptine d’un Autre Été. They may be simpler songs compared to other composers and the music you play, but I’m happy to say it’s a start. Thank you for the inspiration and videos. Keep it up 👍
I would suggest playing classical pieces if youre really trying to get good at the piano though, they often involve many techniques that modern pieces dont have.
I can play river flows in u fur Elise megolovania battle against a true hero spear of justice some other songs, and up and down

@@shantelsirard yes most people prefer it because it's easy to learn and it's good that why it is often recommend for beginners to learn it
