Why do you need to upgrade both the A and B versions? I am currently attempting to update just the fabric interconnects. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi friend, thanks for watching my video. If you are planning to upgrade , you should upgrade Infra bundle & server bundle ( ie; A & B). CISCO recommend that, both should be in same version. Again, you should not do the upgrade before checking the upgrade path & server compatibility . I can help you further , if I know more about your infrastructure .
No matter if FI A or B as subordinate. If we go with auto install , in your environment, FI A will be upgraded first and will do a reboot , then the process will make FI A as primary and do the upgradation on FI B. Dont't wry , It will not create any production issue. But even cisco also recommend to do the upgrade process only on your off-business hours. Also don't forget to take a backup before the upgrade.
