I really appreciate how you give the Northern/Southern ways of speaking. My husband and his family are from Beijing, they sound like pirates it is so darn cute the way they talk. I like to think that if I was Chinese, I would have come from the northern part of the country and have the northern dialect too. I always joke with my husband, I tell him I'm more of a noodle person anyway.
I feel more comfortable saying "zher" and "nar". It used to confuse me, when I first started learning, I would ask him, why do you pronounce words like "diar" when they are saying "dian" in videos!?!!! Lol then he would laugh and say why do you say "ya'll" instead of "you all", using my accent as an example to explain his own.
谢谢老师😊
Haha, there are a few common things in different languages.😊

Hi, I like your channel very much, I want to learn Chinese, we are in the Netherlands because we speak English, we speak French, so please help us turn on automatic English translation on the syllables of Chinese grammar, please🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚
1. zhè ge rén shì lǎo shī
2. wǒ xǐ huan nà běn shū
3. nǎ běn shū shì nǐ de shū?
4. wǒ de qiān bǐ zài nǎ lǐ?
5. nà tiān zài wǒ de shēng rì le.
Well done in Pinyin!
Only the last question you made a little mistake.
“That day was my birthday.” in Chinese should be: 那天是我的生日[nà tiān shì wǒ de shēng rì].
“Shì” means to be.
“zài” can be a verb which means to be at/on/in; it also can be a preposition which means at/on/in.
“le” indicate an action is completed, or indicate a change or the occurrence of a new situation.
“That day was my birthday”, this sentence just to tell a truth, that’s why “le” can not used in this sentence.
I hope this helpful to you.
By the way, do you want to learn how to input Chinese characters via Pinyin?
Have a nice day!
EverydayChinese - Learn Chinese in Chinatown thank you that was very helpful. I've only been studying the pinyin, and have only started to introduce myself to the characters, but yes, would like to learn how to input the correct characters. Xie xie!
i want to llearn more vocavulary , but is a great items i got it all

Glad to hear that! Xiexie 谢谢! Keen on learning.
I loved it!
Glod to hear that. Keep on learning. 继续加油!
1. 这个人是老师。
2. 我喜欢那本书。
3. 哪些本书是你的?
4. 我的铅笔在哪儿?
5. 那天是我的生日。
1. This person is a teacher. 这个人是老师。
2. I like that book. 我喜欢那本书。
3. Which books are yours? 你的那些本书什么
4. Where is my pencil? 那是我的🖊
5. That day was my birthday. 我生日了那天。
Very good! The first and the second answers are correct.
The third question should be: 哪些书是你的?[Nǎ xiē shū shì nǐ de?]
We don’t need to add measure word when we talk about the plural. Which books in Chinese should be “哪些书” [nǎ xiē shū] instead of “哪些本书”[nǎ xiē běn shū]. And notice that, “那”[nà] and “哪”[nǎ], they are similar, but different. “什么” [shén me] means “what”, it doesn’t appear in this sentence.
The fourth question should be: 我的铅笔在哪儿?[wǒ de qiān bǐ zài nǎr?]/我的铅笔在哪里?[wǒ de qiān bǐ zài nǎ li?]
“where” is “哪儿[nǎr?]/哪里[nǎ li?]” in Chinese, “pencil” is “铅笔” in Chinese. Question words are placed at the same place as the thing you are asking about if the sentence is a statement.
The last question should be: 那天是我的生日。[nà tiān shì wǒ de shēng rì.]
“了” indicate an action is completed, or indicate a change or the occurrence of a new situation.
“That day was my birthday”, this sentence just to tell a truth, that’s why “了” can not used in this sentence.
“是” means “to be”. Chinese word order is the same as English word order: subject + verb + object.
Learn Chinese with us, I’m sure your Chinese will become better and better.
谢谢您
不客气! You're welcome!
@@EverydayChinese but excuse me, can we say;
* 这些是书。
*哪些是什么??
这样也对吗老师??
@@MoonFairy66 这些是书 is correct. But you should say 那些是什么, not 哪些.
Please automatic English translation, just do this from the channel settings, it's easy, please, I need Chinese explanation, please🙏🙏🙏🙏🌑🌑🌑🌑🌑
I was going to say zhe ban xie shu
In the 4th sentence I would have put 是, but I noticed everyone is putting 在.
为什么呢?(why?)
Yes, here the "在" means something/someone is at someplace.
