When I found out he wrote this song about when his dog died (from the dog's perspective), I'm not gonna lie, I cried. My dogs are my kids and every time I've had to put one of my girls to sleep, I look her in the eye and tell her "it's okay." So, when I heard "Here in your perfect eyes/they're all I can see" I kinda lost it, haha.
