I learned etymology in middle school for one reason only. 😂 It was a hot reason with fitted dress shirts, a curly hipster haircut, a lanky build, and big glasses. 🤤
Keegan blends in so naturally with the cast. Forgot he was a guest host.
It helps that he used to be on one of SNL's rival shows (MADtv). I guess you can count Key and Peele as a rival show, too, but that was more like Chappelle's Show. MADtv, much like ABC's Fridays (and to a lesser extent, SCTV) was specifically made as a sketch show for people who either used to like SNL and now hate it or never liked the show at all and wanted a sketch show that was actually funny.
Keegan is actually above these people, so it makes sense.

I'm not offended but my kid is homeschooled because she's ADHD and basically cracked under the pressure of the public school classroom. 30 kids, crap all over the walls, and lazy aides to help her. So, yeah... we're religious but her older siblings struggled through with repeatedly ignored accommodations and barely graduated and I finally said eff this and pulled her out.

Ego's delivery on "I don't have a mom, so no one is honest with me," was TOO MUCH. XD Also, Pete's delivery on "Not that effed," sounded so realistic to the 'hot teacher staying out of trouble' dynamic.

I was never on stage crew, but I was in band. At my school band was cool though. My high school band was literally the band they used for the movie “Drum Line” (they called it Atlanta A&T). We didn’t do military style marching (or “heel toe style” as I like to say). Some people call what we did “high step” since your legs have to come up at at least a 90 degree angle. I also was in band at a HBCU where bands are praised as much as the football teams. Therefore, in high school and college people didn’t consider us to be lame or “band geeks”. Everyone actually loved the band.

@King BullyRock I would never do that in a trillion years. I don’t teach anymore but the students I worked with were like little brothers to me & they were literally kids, both in my eyes and in the eyes of the law. Unlike the predators who take advantage of their positions over their students, I’m not attracted to kids and most teachers aren’t. The teachers who sleep with their students are a very small minority of all teachers

"My bible is only 8 pages and my uncle drew it" I felt that - growing up alone with a dad who was disabled from a car wreck leaving his neck and back broken, he became very a toxic and horribly abusive father. He got back into drugs(mostly meth and crack) and scripture, I was about 2 years old when it all started(again) and throughout the years he had a permanent schizophrenic drug induced RELIGIOUS multi-personality disorder. Sometimes he was God, Jesus and then finally he stuck with Moses and tried to re-write the Torah in his own words.
Dang... when does the book come out? That sounds like the stuff of one hell of an autobiography. Sorry you had to deal with that. Sane parents are challenging enough.

@@canaisyoung3601 He threw his pistol at me and told me to kill myself for being depressed and choked me out, the following day he called the cops on me saying I was being crazy and trying to kill myself, when they showed up and saw the situations and the way he was acting I was removed and taken into fostercare after I told them everything that had happened. It's just one long shit show of a story.

I graduated without a senior prom cuz of covid last year, but the teachers said I could come to the one this year as a chaperone. I stop at Red Robin for a bite before the dance and saw a big group of prom seniors from my school eating there dressed to the 9’s as pimps so the “a beautiful 4:00pm dinner at Red Robin’s, tipped 12% cuz we ballers” line really hit me
