I been wearing these shoes for years and love them. I’m really hard on shoes so I own multiple pairs and the only bad thing I can say is the toe part becomes un glued on 3/5 pairs I have owned of these that will hurt the water proofing. The water proof version will make your feet hot in the summer. I would suggest the non water proof version if it’s hot.
I find Merrell and Columbia sizing is about a half size bigger than European brands, maybe not Lowa as they're a bit wider fitting than the Italian brands. I almost always have to size up with Scarpa, Mammut, La Sportiva and Salomon. The toe box width of Merrell makes a big difference in terms of daily wear and comfort versus some performance oriented narrow fit hiking shoe brands.
I just got these, tried them on and made them really tight, I could not figure out how to untie them so I came online. I watched your video and was ABOUT to cut the laces because of how tight I made them. I then realized there’s a small ball on the other side of the black piece with the M on it that you just hold up as you untie them
Have these same merrells and the same color shoes stick to the rocks on the Appalachian trail , these are my second pair, and they last for a few years. Hiked the entire trail with these , and the strap is really easy . We highly recommend these and kricley barefoot running shoes here at the club. Stability has nothing to do with your shoes dude ,thats how you run lol.

That's dedication. You have to be working around the clock with trying to get out videos and cleaning up after the storm.
Yea brother, been non stop these past couple weeks! Still a lot of work to do, but it is getting better!

Thanks for the review man! Spot on! I got a pair and love them!
There’s a slide locking mechanism on the underside of the tab. That’s how you loosen the tension once you’ve pulled them tight.
I'm still working on that, might have to return them, but will try more since I just got them for $ 45.
