The 1st battle is a horde of zombies
The 2nd battle is you teaming up with a iron golem and a villager against pillagers
The 3rd battle is a bunch of skeletons
The 4th battle is against an evoker and a bunch of vex's
The 5th battle is against 2 ghasts and 2 zombified piglins
The 6th battle is against some endermen
The bonus game is a bonus game
The boss is the enderdragon and 2 endermen
(i hope this helped)
As for stages that aren't Minecraft,
The 4th battle is set in Luigi's Mansion because Evokers spawn in Woodland Mansions
The 5th battle is in Norfair to represent the Nether
The 6th battle is in Find Mii because it looks like it's in the End, specifically the outer islands
The boss battle is in Final Destination because Final = End

Everyone’s talking about link and Ridley, but robin and 3 pits are supposed to be evoker and the vex it spawns which I love.
Should have put rathalos.BTW, still happy.
I really like his route because each fight is against a different minecraft mob represented by the fighters!

@@Nmac- it's a reference to the far lands. Which used to be a biome in minecraft at the very end of the world where level generation would be screwed up entirely

The fight against ridley was like winning in minecraft with half a heart
Anybody realize that when Steve falls from a high height there is a little sound like he took damage? He obviously didn’t but it was still cool

The trick for Ender Ridley is to kill the Endermen first, Up Throw Ridley, and juggle him till he dies. For the battle against the hoard of Zombies, immediately mine on the Iron Ore next to your spawn then spam Minecart

I just used aerials with iron tools for the zombies, bair one shots all of them and the enemies' AI only starts getting hard past 7.0. The giant endermen can be cheesed off the side with a throw, and you can block them off with a tnt under the caged mii to give yourself time to gather resources.
This is my story of the classic mode:
So you spawn in and, it is day time. You mine trees, you break stone, then you find iron ore. You smelt it but then it turns night. this is where the zombies comes. Steve has enough minerals so he makes a sword. He killed all the zombies and he walks around. It turns day and you find a village. But there is a raid! You build an iron golem and help the village. You get a house and it turned night. You try sleeping but there are monsters nearby. There are skeletons out. You take out your sword and you slice the bones apart. You were about to sleep then you saw a mansion. You go to it and an evoker summons some vexes. You killed all of them and you got some grass. And you find a portal in the house. You hop in and you find ghasts and hoglins. You kill everything and you go to the overworld and make eye of enders. You find a portal and go to the end. You kill the endermen there. The the ender dragon attacks! You can't hurt it, unless you destroy the crystal. You run to it while you are being chased, and you destroy the crystal. The dragon gets two more endermen and Steve kills then and salyed the dragon. And then he went on a rampage and killed every endermen in sight.

Not having Rathalos as the final round boss was a missed opportunity but I don’t really care at this point. Steve is amazing in this game

tbh the enderdragon is easy the hardest boss is THE Wither specially if you're playing in bedrock/console

Love it how almost all of the battles use HP to represent that characters actual HP in Minecraft. Using a ratio of 1 Heart = 10 Health.

I thought so too, but my personal theory is that they wanted to have the endermen too as well since they don't just magically go away while you're fighting the dragon and they're still a threat you have to deal with potentially. That being said they probably used Ridley because a boss with some CPUs might have either been too overwhelming or just buggy
@@ErikTheCleric Plus I'm not sure you can have the Boss version of Rathalos in Final Destination. After all, The End isn't just any random place.
@@krsynx Another thing I didn't think about! It seems like they were trying to go with accurate looking stages for each fight, and Rathalos's arena doesn't really look anything like the End.
honestly ridley is more "enderdragon" than rathalos. They were 2 of my 3 predictions for the final boss (the other was marx representing wither)

Minecraft is one of the most phenomenal video games ever made and is finally represented in Super Smash Bros plus the best part is we have a second Microsoft character in this franchise.

That's not a Story Mode reference, although it appeared in Story Mode the Far Lands was a world generation glitch from pre-1.8 Minecraft

To everyone saying that Rathalos should've been the final boss for Steve's classic mode just think about this
-Ridley being the boss let's Final Destination be the stage instead of where Rathalos appears, which is more fitting for Minecraft's The End
-Ridley being the boss allows Endermen to appear as teammates too, just like the fight with the Ender Dragon. If Ratgalos was the boss then there would be no Endermen
-Ridley has a color palette more similar to the Ender Dragon, Rathalos is just too vivid
-We get to fight Ridley with Minecraft bgm because it's in Final Destination instead of the Rathalos theme
