Dali looks like a completely different horse from last year! It is also so great you can go around such a large course in such a gentle bit and have him still be so adjustable.
Khal makes it look so effortless. Both boys - and you - are legends. Thanks to your Dad for the videoing.
Dali goes so mich better in the snaffle it seams his head is higher and has no problem getting back on his hocks with those impecable half halts of yours , he is listening to you so well, Congrats holly
Your boys are just floating in the air over those jumps. I remember when Khal did his first 1M30 and how excited you were then. Look at you all now!!! Congratulations! So fun to watch.
Time flies 😂😂
Dali went beautifully steady and such ridealbility. Wonderful.
Khal is just class but that 1.35 round is the best round you and Dali have jumped in my opinion!! Looked so smooth and with him! Well done xx
I agree! I think it’s for sure our best round to day ♥️
Dali has really grown into himself in the past year. Just goes to show that taking extra time for the big ones pays off in the end. Huge respect you you Holly, I know it’s not easy to get a young, big warmblood type to compact their strides and balance themselves. I’m sure it’s a whole other level being the one having to teach them! He is clearly much more responsive to your half halts and is sitting back and waiting so much better than last season. It’s also a pleasure to watch such a large, fit horse respond so well in a snaffle, that’s always the goal but credit to you for working on the issues that made him long and strong instead of putting a bandaid on the issue. You really have done an incredible job with him, it all seemed to come together this round. He’s one of the big kids now!
Thank you! He’s definitely becoming one of the big kids now for sure 🥰
That 1m35 with Dali was class! And Khal is just so special (I'm sure I say that on every video 🤣) he makes that look like the cross pole class, he's so cool! Xx
What superstars. You should be so proud at how you have produced them. 🎉
What an amazing weekend! You definitely have your "sea legs" back. I looked at the purple double and thought, "Is there even enough room for Dali to take a stride?" The angle was such that they looked right on top of each other. He was fantastic. And Khal just handles every jump like a pro. It would be a fun video to watch you practice riding jump offs at an arena. Tight turns and galloping to the fences! As for this weekend, well done, Holly!!!🏇
Yes I definitely feel totally back to my old self again! Only took 2 shows thankfully 🙌🏽
what an incredible improvement on Dali, he's like a completely different horse, I'm stunned! So very well done with both of them.
Thank you so much!
Amazing that you reached Dali's 1.35 goal at the beginning of the show season!! Can't wait to see how the boys do in Europe this year!! :)
Well the goal was more for him to jump a 1.35 GP, but we’re definitely on track for that!
The 1,30m with Dali was absolutely great ridden! Forwards, keen, brave... you even took some strides out and let him go big! Now that was beautiful to watch xx
*Edit: the 1,35 was an absolute cracker!!! Congrats!! The half seat really works like a charm for you too!
Wow! Dali’s like a different horse now. Even with the distance issue, he adjusted himself so well, and he’s responsive to you even in his mild bit. He’s becoming a real showman! Khal too!
Omg! The way that dali has developed👌🏻 such good ridning from your end!!
Khal is a flying machine. ❤ Yeah, in the jump off you could have done one or two shorter turns. 😉 But really that horse is a dream.
Dali looks much freer and forward in the snaffle and is really using himself, great weekend well done 🎉 xx
Wow! Dali is certainly coming into himself now. That was so good and in the snaffle 😊👍😊
Big Dali is becoming awesome, and Khal already is! Well done Holly, great vlog.
Fantastic you ride so beautifully both looking fab he’s so honest ❤
Wow that triple! Khal looks like he is primed to go fast and clear!
Wow!! great job boy is Dali maturing and showing such talent - beautiful jumper!! You looked really good - I focused on your riding and it was outstanding driving and sitting back beautifully - one minor blip but Dali recovered like a pro - good call on the snaffle - Khal is such the superstar I adore him - LOVE his knees - what a tuck he has - great job!!
I love your show vlogs so much! Dali and Khal were amazing again, you can be so happy with those horses! All the love from the Netherlands
Thank you 🙏🏽
Khal has really come along and is so much more rocked back on his hocks. Great job. Love watching you.
Lovely riding! Both boys are absolutely amazing, well done 👏🐎
EEEEEEEEKKKK YAYYY DALI!!!!! ❤🎉 What an exceptional boy!!!
That so awesome with Dali. And Kail too Holly. All my 💗💕🥰❤️🤗💖 to all.
You have every reason to be pleased they were both brilliant and you should stop doubting your own ability, you are equally brilliant.
Holy, you are the real deal!!! I never thought Dali had it in him the way Khal does, but your patience and perseverance do pay out! I did see the video of your trajectory with Khal...I think this might be similar
Holly ,wow congratulations you were incredible ,well done all.❤❤🎉🎉
So much improvment already!!! ❤❤ Think this is going to be a fun summer!!!
i was holding my breath while Dali was going i was for sure thinking he would have that CWD fence down in the 1m30 but he made it! he has really come into his own recently!! congratulations on his success! he is really quite something now his big brother Khal should watch out! lol 😆💖Khal at the spring tour GP was so awesome he is so careful when he jumps makes it so exciting and his ears were pricked forward the entire time! what an amazing show vlog for you and your boys! super mega congrats holly! 🎉
I was squinting through my hands at that CWD fence too; but like Khal, just point them at it and they will jump it for you, Holly.
Dali reminds me of Clifford the big red dog, he's not the most graceful😄 Instead of tucking his front knees up he seems to launch them (particularly on the last fence). So fun to watch, and very different from pingy Kahl
Wow and wonderful both boys and your riding looked relaxed in a calmer bit .Congrats for placing !
That was one incredible weekend, Holly! Both you and the boys did a superb job! You almost sounded disappointed on Monday, but don't be discouraged about your jump off time - I'm sure you'll improve. You've been able to take on every challenge and overcome it. God bless ❤
Amazing! Congratulations! The boys are doing such a great job but you are too! lovely riding!!
Both horses are going so, so well. It’s a total joy to watch them, & of course, & of course you too Holly……
Please, please, PLEASE don’t sell Khal, you could really go far with him. 👍🙏🏻☺️☺️
😢😢. He’s such a part of your family now. (10 years?). Sell the foals instead given their parentage. 👍🏻☺️💕
Absolutely brilliant ❤❤❤ those stud cubes are doing the job ! They both look magnificent 😍😍😍😍
It’s the race horse cubes that they’re on! But yes, making a huge difference 😍
You and Dali absolutely smashed those rounds 😍
woooh ..well done.....brought me to tears
Such a difference compared to the last competition you entered! Keep going! 🤩
They did so well🤩
They are both amazing! I don’t know how you ride Dali’s HUGE jump! And Khal….he IS a legend! ❤❤❤. (Daddy-O’s giggle were adorable!). 😂❤😂
You looked awesome on both boys. Well done!
I absolutely love your videos ❤ I watch every single one and they make my day ❤
Both are super, well done. x
So happy for you, the boys, and your Da -- his gasp when you made that last jump-off on Khal was so sweet. Dali was AMAZING and in the snaffle only. You deserve all the happiness and good feelings these boys bring -- you have brought them along so beautifully and they clearly love what they do. I am in awe :)
Awh thank you so much! ♥️♥️
neeeedleeess to say! DALI MADE ME PAY MY MOUTH! HE DIDI HANDSOMEEE
Hi Dali, is soo well trainers he jumped even when he got his legs in a spin
Super! Such great work!
Amazing :D Huge well done!
KAHL as ever a superstar no bother on him around that big track, brace yourself for the 1.50s / 1.60s you,ll soon be doing🎉
WOW, Dali!!
Hi Holly -- You and Dali are looking fantastic out there! But today -- I'm really popping in to wish you, your dad, and your mom a HAPPY SAINT PADDY'S DAY!!!!!!! And while I'm at it, I can't help but ask if your farm is close to Blarney Castle. Best regards -- JV
The weather looked grim 🥶
Love your content
I'm sorry but "what are those little feet" got me 🤣🤣
I could hear this pitter patter behind me I was like wtf 😂😂
I don't think that could have been any easier for Kahl, he's so unfazed by it. I feel Kahl could jump so much bigger and faster, you can really see his potential. Maybe get a seasoned jumper at the bigger heights to take him round a course😊
He's going to be for sale. If he goes to someone experienced they can do that but he also has the temperment to go to someone who wants to move up I personally wouldn't push him knowing that he had so much potential
@@NoThankUBeQuietwe as viewers and Holly know that, but if you don't watch the videos and know him as a horse you don't see that adaptability and potential. Having only one rider means he is within the limits of that riders current ability, holly also mentioned she loves seeing how well he rides and looks when someone else is on him (when Meg rode)
Actually I wouldn’t enjoy watching someone else compete him and it’s also not very nice to hear someone say that your horse would perform better with someone else in the saddle 😂
Also maybe you don’t remember but Khal and I have competed at much higher international level than this, hence I say that this height is very easy to him. But it is his second show after being off for 6 months so of course we’re going to start a little lower. It would be unfair to throw him back into a 1.45 international GP. And thirdly, as I also said in the video, there are no higher competitions in Ireland at the moment. This is literally the biggest class we can jump…
Wawww, how it's posible that dali can jump this year 1,35 and last year only 1,20? Was there also important the time?
For kahl i think it was normal because he did this already. Is the jump off for speed?
From 1,35 it is GP, but why there are so many categorys in GP? The highest is 1,60 and than second round like jump off for speed. But all those are called GP? 1,35, 1,40, till 1,60. A few weeks ago you told me you don't jump at home that high, because they can jump high. But don't they have to train at home the hight? And how do you know how high they can jump, if you don't try at home?
I imagine that You're very proud with your boys.👍
