You are welcome to send fan mails but I may not be able to respond to all of them. But I immensely appreciate your support. Thank you!
#Singapore
Thanks for introducing these new stores to us, the food looks delicious, definitely dishes that I love ❤️
thank you for always making me (at least) appreciate what i have around me more 😁
The $9 plate is 套腸, using small pork intestines and stuffed them together into 6-8 layers. To create another level kind of texture in Chinese braised recipes. U can even fried them! Crunchy good 👍
Owned by the same brothers team who also owned Bai Nian (Yong Tau Foo) under their belt.
Bai Nian or 百年 is the hanyu pinyin word meaning 100 years.
Shi Nian or石年 direct translation means Stone Year. But I believe the brothers meant to interprete Stone Age....maybe?
Wow everything look so good
Omg i super love this❤
Just ordered your sake from Shopee! Hope to enjoy it soon with friends 👏👏😄
Thank you! Hope you like it!!
Wahhhhhhh! All the food looks good! I'm already drooling!!! 🤤🤤🤤 You should try the Fried Kway Teow Mee at Hong Lim Market & food centre beside chinatown point. But must go in the morning because they close at 3pm everyday or could be earlier once they are sold out! They close on sunday tho. That is the best char kway teow I ever had! The name of the shop is Outram Park Fried Kway Teow Mee(#02-17)!
I don’t think I tried it before, thanks🤤
I tried last week and it tasted really good!
Try the one at Bishan st 22 kopi tiam .. open at 8 pm...
Ah look so appetizing and delicious
😋❤️❤️
It was!
Amoy street hawker centre has very good lor mee and fish soup too. So many other popular dishes serves mostly lunch time peak office hours. Super place !
Yes I was surprised to find so many good stalls!
@@GhibOjisanmany stalls original from Lau Pa Sat fc ! There are the first fc go for renovation , but are not allowed to go back after renovation, gov break their promise !
Series should be called Food For thoughts
I have tried a similar Thai dish at Kin Kao Young and it was awesome, but sadly the nearby outlet to my home is now closed....
I only ever eat my mum's home cooked pig trotters lol.. I don't eat the gelatinous part as I don't like the texture. The pho and lu rou fan are good recommendations though. Definitely will check out your sake too!
kinda slay introduction. thanks bud
7:00 Titanium iPhone on deck 😂
very good, keep it up.
I ate the one in Bukit Timah Food Centre (2nd flr) recently. Braised pork, brown sauce, coriander with rice. Recipe from China. OK tasting. A bit costly. Arrigato for your vids.
stumbled upon this store at their old airport road hawker outlet. yummy!
Han Kee fish soup at the 2nd floor of Amoy Food Centre is very good and value for money for the amount of fish they give.
Will check it out next time!
you're there and u missed spicy wife oh nooooo. their chicken leg nasi ayam is amazing
Is not easy to handle pig intestine,. So to make it more stall is hard to maintain their quality. Different people handle differently.
Ate this a few years ago. Was good but seems to be more expensive now. There’s another one at Bedok Interchange Hawker which imo taste better
It’s like finding gems in the hawker centre😂
And oh boy so many gems at Amoy!
Reminds me of the Thai fish that seems very similar to this dish.
yeah that pig leg rice is legit. i don't usually like braised thing with rice, but this stall does it really well. only downside is that it's hard to order various dishes cuz it's a bit too much for one person. like if i want to get extra preserved vegetables, or fish cake, u are forced to order quite a big side dish for it.
So much flavour and umami!
I like to watch your food video, can tell that u enjoy food, not like other UA-camrs, the way they eat make me want to warmed.(u go n watch one of the China people you tubers. Almost everyday go to different restaurant but he is not enjoying, cannot hide from the viewer, we r not that stupid)😅
Hi Ghib, wow ぜんぶ 美味しい そ・お酒🍶オダ した よ、お楽しみです。 🎉🍶🙇👍😬
Thanks for ordering from Sake Ichiba Sujani, hope you like it😆
@@GhibOjisan,, today it will come,, but i only open it for shin nen for kampai Ghib hehe 😅
Honestly the trotters with the sauce is really flavourful, but imo the portion is way too small for $5.90. The portion in this video looks big, not sure if it’s just the camera angle. And I don’t remember the one I had having fish cake haha.
豚足ご飯はぜひ食ってみたい😋
グニョグニョ箇所がなくて食べやすかったです!
Hey, Ghib, do you like Singapore 🇸🇬 hawker food, or Japanese 🇯🇵 foods ?
Come on la, this type of question is like asking you if your wife and mum is drowning who do you choose to save.
Both I very like 😋
Is it Taiwanese dish?
Hmmm but braised pig trotters and intestines are quite common dishes that you can get all over Singapore. So can't say that this is a recent trending hawker food? Perhaps just a rapid expansion for this chain? It gets crazy crowded around lunch time there LOL. I love the old school chee cheong fun and yam kuey stall at level one with the red signboard. Their chee cheong fun sold out super early.
By the way, is "collagen" pronounced differently in American english?
I know the pig leg rice. Taste good but pig intestine have smell in some stall not very pleasing..
It's nice but very expensive
For authentic braised pork rice, try isshin machin
Oh, that lady must be Ghib's pretty wifey. If pig's stomach and intestines are a bit smelly, means the workers don't know how to wash it off properly.
Love to see u eat. Have more of it - like Gregory Leow at Greg eats whom I like to watch.
Smelly flavour means the guy didnt clean it properly 😅
Need to have a bit of extra "flavour" to make it nice. If too clean, you will feel something is missing. Just like fried kway teow, without the blood of the cockles, it just won't taste right. Do you know for Fugu, some of the chefs will leave a bit of the poison on the sashimi to get that sensation on the tongue?
Yep It’s true some chefs left toxins back in the time but that is totally illegal now😅 if you feel numbness, most likely the chefs did not wash the knives and chopping board properly when they cut away the intestines
go to lola cafe , alkove bistro sg , sengcoffeebar
Sorry Ghib, I think you need to look into rehiring your transcript writer for the subtitles in YT closed captions. The subs are completely off from what is being said!
Hello there! hi there! hey there! hi there! hey there hello there!
yoyo!
8:45 ghib dun say you will pay more money than current, later the owner raise price ppl gonna scold u
Pho = "pherrr", not "fall" 😂
FAIL 😂
Looks like a knock off dish of Thai pork leg rice…
And I am not referring to any chilli sauce, but the one they use for chicken rice.
You will make a fortune by bringing in authentic japanese food to Singapore as well as bringing Singapore food to Japan.
That is a dish from China
Dear Ghib, take the truth.. something most important is missing. The indispensable chilli sauce. Pair the whole thing with the
chilli sauce, and you know what I mean. I say no more.
Like for good luck
You have to watch the waistline and the wallet.
Mlxg is not an authentic sg dish
It looks like the cafeteria in college dude lol 😂 nope 👎🏼
sounds like sponsored marketing
