I'm not sure why you cut the grill out. The sensor is covered by the grill or bumper cover on all models, including this one. You have to calibrate it with the grill off, then reinstall the grill or bumper cover, depending on the model.

Hi, yes when the calibration fails you add additional charge to remove the bumper and repair the area or a line the bracket or replace it
I have 2018 ford edge titanium , the pre- collision assist not available and adaptive cruise control control is not working
