They may have simply not liked that you where getting too much attention. When you go fursuiting in places that aren't (convention, park) it's important to call the store manager before you go so that way they won't be surprised, they will know who you are, and it also prevents you from being upset about being kicked out. I do get what he was saying though, is sorta makes it easy to steal something when your face is fully covered (the police can't easily identify you when going through camera footage), but they should have just said that instead of saying it was on the wall because now that makes it a lie. But I love how you dealt with it, I guESs ThEy Can't hANdlE ouR bEAutY. I wish I had friends to fursuit with XDD. My brother isn't a furry and my parents allow me to enjoy the hobby but I don't have any close friends that are furries lol. Looks like yall had fun lol boba is so good if you get the right type!

A much more safer way of fursuiting at a mall (or any other place that does not allow wearing full-face masks) is to wear ears, tails and paws or hooves of your corresponding animal. When I went there near Christmas, I just wore cat ears and paws. (And yes, I am a kitty. My kitty name is Sierra)

I think they just didn´t want to explain the actual reason (my mom was looking at my laptop screen and I explained what´s happening and we had a discussion on why it happened) probably you ain´t allowed with the head due to the fact they can´t identify your face, mostly security risks and the fact it wasn´t in the conduct was because they don´t need a full point on no fursuits, the first point with "wear appropriate clothing" is sort of that - you are very noticeable to the eye and attract people closer to each other - the rabbit can wear their costume because they were payed and allowed to do so, as a mascot, you were not expected to be in the mall and weren´t payed and therefore aren´t allowed unless the mall told you to your face that it is allowed to draw attention to yourself with your suit, but smh facepalms self I think those Lego workers didn´t like you or thought you´d steal something ALSO OMGG THAT WAS AWESOME TO WATCH squish SLAY QUEEN Y´ALL´S SUITS ARE SO GOOD I STILL LOVE YOURS SO MUCH IT´S SO PRETTY

Well we cooperated pretty fast and were respectful so they couldn't have really done much else especially since their code of conduct didn't actually say anything about covering your face, which was their main reasoning.
the security guards were completely in the right to kick you out. the code of conduct clearly states that those in the mall should wear appropriate clothing. while it does not explicitly say to not wear full face coverings, it does not need to. it should be common sense to not wear full face coverings on private property. when you public fursuit on private property, non-furries are accepting you into THEIR space. they are tolerating YOU, not the other way around. you are representing the fandom every single time you fursuit in public. no exceptions. i do not intend to sound harsh, but rather, firm. here are some ways you can avoid this happening again. 1. call ahead of time. 2. show them pictures and videos of your fursuit so they know what to expect. 3. go when it is least busy.
At this point i am literally losing my hope and even my sanity. First homophobics, than kinkshamers, now antifurries. This world.. is an absolute bust.
