Andie P I think what helps is the fact that there will always be at least one person with you, either as a camera person, another fursuiter, and/or a spotter (you'll always/should have a spotter with you, regardless of where you go). I think that's partially what helps give people the confidence to do this.
Andie P Well, a spotter doesn't always HAVE to be a furry. After all, a spotter is just someone that's there to make sure the suiter is okay and to tell them if they're about to run into/trample something. If you have a friend or family member that doesn't mind furries, then ask them; I'm sure that'd be fine.
