@@fulgensnocte1936 if you budget is light then id suggest go for hard tail cos the rest of the bike will have good specs but if you get a full sus at a low budget the money goes mostly into the sus and everything else around the bike can be much lower spec.. i had what id consider a mid range budget to buy a mtb and i just ordered a nukeproof scout expert 290 large. if i want to get a full sus in the future all i really need to do is change the frame but if i got the full sus version of my bike it would have been almost double the price just because of the frame being more expensive.

That's actually "The way we did it back in the day" because it built on other skills. A lot of riders/coaches have found that they can teach the bunny hop without teaching the manual if they use the "point the toes and lock in against the pedals" method. The new way is not all bad though. It does use less energy to perform, so you don't get tired as quickly.

So glad I watched this vid. I always used to play around on the bike at slow speeds and remember leaning the bike over super hard but never transferred that to turning. I’ve ALWAYS struggled turning and feeling comfortable at high speeds. I taught myself to look way out ahead which tends to help me make turns at speed but I’ve always kept level pedals and just tried to get low. As soon as she said weight that outside pedal and lean the bike not your body it just clicked for me! Thanks!

One thing I notice is how good it is to see different approaches from different teachers to these skills. Very good way to learn these skills. And not as a newcomer to mountain biking but as a "comebacker" after been riding allot as a kid and coming back to the sport as an adult this is really good and I find myself always doing these things again and again in front of my house just to cement it into my bones. Very good video! Leigh has an unique energy and it is very funny to see how Blake plays the role of a beginner. I also found very helpful the way she explains the body movement when executing a bunny hop. Thanks guys!

Probably one of the best intro to manual and bunny hop videos I've seen... and I've probably watched 500 manual and bunny hop videos

I knew it! I always thought that the most basic skills include trackstand and the manual. Thanks for this video.
